The weekly Renderosity coupon this week is 25% off $25 or more, interestingly the coupon is good through Sunday.

Click & Save Today -- Take 25% off your order of $25+ with code CNSM21 at checkout. Coupon valid until Sunday 5/23/2025, 11:59 PM (CDT). Coupon is stackable on other promotions but may not apply to all products.

Usual mix of sales, from 50% off to 65% off, plus the Prime Flash sale of course!

As for Daz3D.com, I'd definitely welcome more predictable sales. Yes, this thread exists partially to call out the glitch discounts when discounts go wild, but if the 'new' sales strategy is to simplify things, I'd welcome this. I burned out on playing cart Jenga a long time ago...

I'm missing the extra 10%/20% off Outlet items discount though. That was interesting. Of course the annual end of May/early June sale is right around the corner probably, we'll see how that goes this year. With Premier now being a thing, I'm not expecting Plus members to get the same discounts as in past years, but one can hope.

Well yes, simpler sales promos would be welcome and a great time saver; however, I am not convinced that is their strategy.

It appears, that rather than investing in a proper QA of the implementation of their promos , they have shifted their focus to a more rapid response to the glitches by moving the release time to when their support 'staff' are at work.

So, the glitches will continue; what will change is that the 'to fix' time will be shortened as they will be able to act on the "Goody Two Shoes' reports" in a more timely fashion.

It would have been nicer if, instead of maintaining the burned of testing their ineptitude on their Loyal Customers, they placed the burden on their own salaried staff.

I am also sure that the change to their release schedule will disgruntle many of their Loyal Customers that have developed a workflow based on the old schedule, the 10 hour delay may well have unexpected repercussions.

I must say that normally, I would post comments like this on the Daz Forums; however, that would be a futile exercise as their moderators brook no criticism of Daz and a drop of water on hot coals would survive longer.

High on feedback they do not get. Must have been overloaded. I do appreciate the app dev team doing something though. Being just a hobbyist I look mainly towards the odd great deal, free stuff or Renderhub to be honest.

Most of the DAZ deals/sales/shenanigans require too much effort, unless you're used to it like a good little regular buyer :) . I face the same hoopala in the audio world where my profession lies.

A funny one on this.

When they had announced what was then the new version of Daz, I had made a post on the Daz forum in a thread in which I basically commented/wondered/suggested there was a high risk from what they were saying, that plug-ins and script could stop working and seemed a way push people to be forced to pay again for the same plugin, asking to be corrected if wrong, to be sure.

Notice I did not write it there, but I work in ICT, and although I do not consider myself a developer, I did some development in the past, and I worked in software development activities, so, I was just reading the indication about what they were saying they were going to do, and deriving the consequences in absence of corrections.

The moderators deleted my post because it was "spreading rumours based on unbased speculations", or something like that (I don't remember the exact words, but that was the concept, and the "speculations" and the reference to them being basically invented was also there).
What happens later ? Exactly what I was asking, so yes, it is not even needed a full criticism, even just raising a doubt, is not going to be accepted, especially if you are actuall right on the money :)

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: Predictable or what ...

Got almost excited about a Daz Deals Price notification, so I rushed and added the item to my cart:

Screenshot 2025-05-23 183456.png

and true it's word when in the cart it was:

Screenshot 2025-05-23 183411.png

Then I checked out the new releases in today's promo and was enticed by "PN Ray for Genesis 9", so in the cart that went too ... only to find:

Screenshot 2025-05-23 183530.png

"Mystical Markings..." had increased in price ... the reason, you may wonder, is that ...

Screenshot 2025-05-23 185014.png

it is in today's promo "Legacy Artists Stores" deal, despite being shown on the deal's product list at the above advertised discount...

Lesson #1 You cannot trust the veracity of any Daz 3D deal. [ Caveat emptor ]

Lesson #2 If you turn your underpants inside out so you can wear them for another week, they are still dirty.

Yeah, I just posted about this potential issue in . If you plan to get any of those legacy items under $1.99, you'd better avoid having a "massive" new release in your cart.

OK, after the weirdness of the last Daz3D.com sale (i.e. adding new releases to get extra 20% off resulted in some older/cheaper items jumping upwards in price in the cart to $1.99), today's Daz sale is a bit more predictable.

Heatherlly, Color Galleria, and 3DLoki are being featured today, having become PAs at Daz3D.com recently, and there's some fairly decent deals. Any new release over $1 wll add an extra 10% discount to the relevant items, so I'm seeing a number of 89% off discounts on older (say G3/8) items, mainly MbM/Heatherlly characters. That's before token silliness.

Might be worth a looksee at least.

Daz3D wishlist deal is ok:
  • 30,000 item list
  • wishlisted items from that list are 60% off
  • buy one new release ($10) to make them 70% off
  • w/ Daz+, wishlisted Daz Originals are 79% off (Daz Math for 70% + 30%)
  • buy 5 outlet items ($4-$9 for Daz+) for an extra 10% off those wishlist items, so wishlist items now 73% off (81% DOs)
  • buy a $5 item from previous sale for 10% off cart, now wishlist items 76% off (83% DOs), total buy-in $19-$24
  • use 8 tokens, wishlist items 83% off (91% DOs), total buy-in $15/$20
That's a lot of buy-in, but if they're things you want, or if you buy a lot of wishlisted items, that could be worth it.

Thanks very much for taking the time to highlight all the possible variables to make the total cheaper. Still, not for me this specific wishlist sale. I'm under the impression that I started to buy at Daz, around 18 months ago, shortly before their general pricing increased substantially. Not a big drama, though. Buying less saves money. Also, I've been able to build quite a big library during all this time.

Yeah!, just Meh! I proactively manage my "desired" items, I am monitoring 300+ items using Daz Deals Pro, 50 of which are prioritised on my Daz Wishlist; of the 41K items in the "wishlist" deal I have 20K of them and not a single one of my wishlisted items are included in the remainder, the monitored items that are would not meet my target price if they were wishlisted. Today was a hard pass, as I have already got what I want from the batch of qualifying "Massive" new releases and there aren't any 5 Outlet items that I would waste my time on.

Picky? Yes ...

It is very likely that the June sale (or whatever is is called) will start in Friday. And it is often one of the best sale in the year. So yeah, today sale is decent, but hopefully we can expect something much much better in a few days. So today is a hard pass for me too.

By the way some news from renderosity.
A 20% coupon for a $20+ purchase 2025MH20 till Thursday, and a 50/65%prime sale on 2.4k items till Thursday.
and a few other 60%off sales

In my case, I still have three wishlisted "massive" new releases that I could choose to use as buy-ins. And I believe I would be able to find the outlet buy-ins as well without too much effort (although I like and welcome the outlet, I haven't spent a lot in its items yet. Curious.). And yet, I don't feel tempted enough with the current stacking discounts. With almost 900 products that I have in my wishlist at this moment, 91% off DOs and 83% off for the rest still means not getting as much as I'd like to get for my money.

A couple of quick notes.

Renderosity has a 65% off sale that's beach/swim related. Note that it's 65% off for everyone, so if you aren't a Prime member, this may be of more interest to you. If you are a Prime member and still have your monthly Prime coupon, items are coupon eligible. The selection is rather small, but can't hurt to check it out at least...

Other deals seem like more of the usual...

Over at Daz3D.com, seems like more of the usual. It's nice seeing older items consistently getting higher discounts, but I'm sure most of you have grabbed most of the older items that interested you already. Interestingly, the 'Plus' sale didn't kick off today. I keep forgetting what the name of the June sale from past years was, but if I'm remembering correctly Daz Originals/Plus items had pretty good discounts. The main thing here is that said sale did NOT kick off today, instead it's a 'catch up' sale...

The Centaur 9 sale had me a bit excited for a minute, until I remembered that I haven't been putting Centaur 7/8 to much use since grabbing them, so yeah I probably wouldn't use them in the first place. Still, I'm sure others have been waiting for a 9 version of Centaur related products.

The $2.99 with related new release selection in the Catch Up sale looks rather 'meh' to me, YMMV. As for the rest of the Catch Up Daz3D.com sale, I'll leave it to you professionals to dissect the deals...

Any russian buyers in thread?
How to buy, say, on daz store? Maybe coupones?
Anybody answering your question would mean saying where they are from, not the information most people indicate in a forum of this type.
Though as far as I know there is no embargo from Daz Studio towards Russia (DAZ Studio is not exactly a weapon or a "dual use" item), I guess you mean you have a problem in the credit card payment ?
For that unfortunately coupons do not seem to be a solution either, unless they changed, coupons for Daz can be bought only on Daz directly, which means you would end up anyway having the problem of having to buy/pay them with the credit card.

Well, commenting too broadly risks to get into politics, that is forbidden on F95, so I am avoiding.

On the other hand, I know I shoud not promote "piracy", but since we are in a "pirates" web site anyway :-D (everybody, put down your eyepatch, grab your bottle of rum, and start singing with me: "Fifteen men on a dead man's chest..." :p :-D), try to look on F95 and also the usual web sites (there is a list of those on F95 as well) from which you can download assets for free (well, after clicking through some advertisement).
Plus, ShareCG is gone, but check RenderHub and Renderosity, they have free stuff that can be even very good, and while some is addons for products for sale (but that sometime you find on the other web sites), a number of those are full free products.

Check again, maybe there is another payment mean you can use on the Daz web site, I remember only credit card, paypal and coupons (paid anyway through paypal and credit car), but I may be wrong.
Also, in theory paypal can be "charged" with a bank transfer, or you might be able to get a pre-paid credit card from an issuer in a third country.
Again, you are just a person trying to buy something from the Daz web site, so in theory that is not something that really falls under any kind of "sanctions" - you are more a "collateral damage".

Wow, the June Daz3D.com sale kicks off, and crickets...

Not sure how good the deals are this time around, but for me at least, the 'key' items haven't been of any interest for me so far, so I've had zero desire to play cart Jenga. I guess I'm holding out for props and environments as 'key' items, and maybe new clothing if it's back portable to 3/8. The 'plus' freebies, so far except for the new ones this week I already had them so no joy there for me.

A new batch of freebies did drop, nothing particularly interesting to me but ymmv:

Has anyone else taken a stab at the current Daz3D.com deals?

Renderosity is more of the same. The 'weekly' coupon is only 15% off $15 or more, so not as exciting, so again I haven't been paying close attention. Sure, I have my Prime 20% off June coupon, but haven't felt the need to fire it off as of yet.

I did take a look at Renderotica, seemed like more of the usual to me.

In short, I'll leave the deal dissection to the professionals in this thread!
