Wow, the June Daz3D.com sale kicks off, and crickets...

Not sure how good the deals are this time around, but for me at least, the 'key' items haven't been of any interest for me so far, so I've had zero desire to play cart Jenga. I guess I'm holding out for props and environments as 'key' items, and maybe new clothing if it's back portable to 3/8. The 'plus' freebies, so far except for the new ones this week I already had them so no joy there for me.

A new batch of freebies did drop, nothing particularly interesting to me but ymmv:

Has anyone else taken a stab at the current Daz3D.com deals?

Renderosity is more of the same. The 'weekly' coupon is only 15% off $15 or more, so not as exciting, so again I haven't been paying close attention. Sure, I have my Prime 20% off June coupon, but haven't felt the need to fire it off as of yet.

I did take a look at Renderotica, seemed like more of the usual to me.

In short, I'll leave the deal dissection to the professionals in this thread!
Yesterday, I built a cart with 30 items at Daz. It cost me around 76 euro (fortunately I still have a lot of store credit left from my last gift cards purchase). Two buy-ins (one Daz+ for One Day item and one of the featured new releases from yesterday). The rest of the products were picked from among the legacy and the recent featured artists categories. The most expensive of the two buy-ins was Mousso's latest female figure for Genesis 9, that I wanted to buy at some point. The other buy-in was the cute female model, from the Daz+ for one day selection. For the featured artists items I ended up getting final discounts between 90% and 94%. That is with 8 tokens spent.

Today in Daz3D.com land...

OK, so if for some reasons you have a few older Daz Orginals on your wishlist that you haven't grabbed as of yet, apparently today only you can get an extra 30% off all of those.

I just built a cart with one of today's key items and one of today's new releases to test the waters.
The 'key' item gives you an extra 40% off, on top of the 50/60%, 65/75% or 75/85% if a debut or still new is in your cart.

On a 'latest' category featured PA item, I'm seeing 88% off 'DO Latest Releases'. 94% off w/8 tokens.
On a 'recent' item, I'm seeing 91% off 'DO Recent Releases'. 95% off w/8 tokens.
On a 'legacy' item, I'm seeing 96% off 'DO Legacy Releases'. 98% off w/8 tokens.

Not sure about the value of the three $1.99 'stealz' items, but can't hurt to check them out I guess, there may be stuff there you want, or not...

Probably the most notable thing is that coupon blocking is not currently in play with today's sale, so you should be able to use one of your monthly Plus/Premier coupons if you haven't fired those off yet (if Plus/Premier).

So, in short, if you have a few DO's in your Daz3D.com wishlist, might not hurt to play cart Jenga today...
There IS a '$1.99 minimum' note at the bottom of the PA list on the sale page, but that may or may not just be a leftover from some previous sale page template, I'm seeing lower prices than that on the DO's I tested in my cart.
Edit: Hmmm, the $1.99 minimum DOES seem to be in play, at least for 'recent' items, but tokens can reduce the price to $1.10 on 'recent' items...

On the Renderosity side, there's a 65% off sale in the mix that might be worth a looksee, particularly if you aren't a Prime member and are looking for deals on hair. Not screamin' Daz3D.com deals, but for Renderosity, 65% off for everyone is decent.

Now to see if there's anything left in today's sales that I actually want that I don't already have...

There's another Gift Card sale, but honestly, I'm not sure it's worth it.

Not only it's just 10% off, you even need a buy in. I don't know. :cautious:
Probably not, but if you've run out of store credit, better than nothing I suppose, assuming that one of the debut new interests you.

I haven't bought anything this week. Truth be told, the $2 minimum thing pisses me off, and the buy-in prices aren't low enough for my tastes just to grab older stuff. I stil buy older products here and there, which aren't really worth burning tokens on otherwise. The extra % off DO offer a couple of days back almost had me, but then I looked at my cart and 'meh', so I wishlisted the stuff for later. Wishful thinking on my part probably, but yeah...

I still have $100+ left in store credit. And since this sale is kinda meh so far, I think I'll wait.

None of the Daz+ for a Day or Debut items interests me. Well, tbf, there are a few, but not at the current price.

Bye Bye, ShareCG...

Yep, actually, it is already one month or two (if not more) that it happened. Renderotica even made a specific "ad" on their web site to say the welcome the people from sharecg.
The problem is that I guess sharecg conditions meant they did not have the right to pass the content, even the free one (which was the biggest part, I would say) to anybody else, so they suggested people could go to RenderHub, but they did not move the stuff themselves.
At the same time, probably a lot of people who had put free stuff there, had put it and then either do not have it anymore, or did not follow anymore - in short, it means lots of free stuff that was even nice (and even if it was for V4, could be converted, did that for some), either you had grabbed it already, or is lost, and also a lot of "free daz/poser" lists on the internet have become more like a way to rub your nose on what you are not going to get :), than an useful resource.

This week's Renderosity midweek coupon code:

Think Fast - Save Big -- Take 25% off your order of $25+ with code THINKSAVINGS25 at checkout. Coupon valid until Thursday 6/12/2025, 11:59 PM (CDT). Coupon is stackable on other promotions but may not apply to all products.

Looks like there are two 60% off if Prime sales currently, and of course there's usually a 65% off if Prime midweek sale that drops on Wednesday so might be some fairly decent Renderosity style deals tomorrow if such things interest you.

I have received a mail from daz, with a $4 coupon on outlet items.
The mail was sent on June 6, but it was buried in other useless mails and I just read it today.
Supposed to be "only good for a few days", but anyway, I tested and it still works...
Probably it is "only valid for intended recipients", but it won't hurt to try.
OUTLET-4-FREE $4 off outlet items.

Really? I got the same code last week for only $3, but when I attempted to use it the following day it said it was Invalid. So I said fuck it, DAZ will continue to not see any business from me.

For Daz Premier

Not sure if this has already been stated , Add all the items you want in your wish list. Daz often runs an extra XX% off on wish list items added prior to the promo date. Combine that with other things and your in the win .Btw best time to purchase is end of the month they usually run crazy deals that spill over to maybe the 1st or 2nd of the new month. Most items end up being between pennies to $4 once you combine the current promos Daz Premier and the 8 coins.Current cart with Premier+ , 7 Coins and the June 13th promo
. Screenshot 2025-06-13 132329.png

Characters and clothes shouldn't be more than $3 unless it's some great bundle or classified as new. Lol most things shouldn't be over $3 if done right. But they will get you on the licenses if you need that stuff for the future.

Sales on the 30/31 usually encomass everything which isn't considered new at a 50 - 60% off then do the combo , membership and coins thing you get a nice deal. So yeah if your item is dirt cheap grab on the daily promos. Just wait on the end of month sales.

Yeah! but then the 'Does not apply to New Release' fucks me over ... I proactively manage my lists which means that there very few 'Old' items on them ... and the 'add on the day' didn't work when I tried, not that the resulting discount would have been attractive enough anyway.

O Hum! on with doing stuff that needs done instead of wasting effort on 'Cart Jenga' ...

Cart Jenga is truly annoying ,almost bought some outfits discounted from $20- $4.20.The next day that creator was selected for an even higher promo all the outfits were under $2.Was getting like 10 outfits. None the less no one discounts like Daz market but Daz Market characters often look average.Idk if it's just me but other places have more "conventionally attractive women" .

Honestly, I didn't expect this. I would've bet on the increase, not price drop.
I'd like to think it is because enough of us have refused to join the 'Premier Rent your Tools and Assets' model and decided not to renew their Daz+ subscription because the price hike was too much ...

But then, it was kind of a tradition to give a discount on membership at some point during 'Membership Month'; on the plus side, IIRC today's renewal price is slightly less (1.43% or 2% in Daz Arithmetic) than the previous full price annual subscription charge.

[EDIT] Corrected my percentages, I've never said I was good at arithmetic which is why I use 2 calculators from different manufacturers and a laptop for difficult sums [/EDIT]
[EDIT2] Corrected my percentages, again, I thought the annual price was $75 until OhWee pointed out it was $70 ... so it's even less ... [/EDIT2]

today's renewal price
Ah! It is NOT a Renewal Price, it is a 'Join Daz+' offer!

In previous years you could use the 'Membership Month' membership offer to extend your current membership; not so today, I just tried, the 'Join Daz+' button took me to my membership page where the only actions available are 'Cancel Current Membership' or 'Upgrade to Premier' ...

I guess I'll just have to see how the wind blows when the time comes to renew ...

Sooo, the annual retail price of Daz+ dropped to $69, which if I'm remembering correctly is $1 lower than the 'old' Daz+ price (before sales discounts). '69' jokes aside...

On the plus side, I saw an orange banner noting that I'd be getting an extension to my Daz+ membership to 'compensate' for the price hike to Daz+ (then drop back to about the old 'full' price)... so yay I guess.

As for the free items selection today (with coupon code), well 46 of 47 were texture add-ons, mostly for items I didn't have already, but after a bunch of hunting and pecking I found a couple of associated items that I did end up having at least. Unlike most of you, I haven't been jumping onto the Genesis 9 bandwagon, so yeah.

The tokens game often has a 'chilling' effect when I'm shopping at Daz. Mainly 'cuz I'm not a fan of tokens, but also like yesterday, when I didn't want to burn my 'double' tokens on Wed-Sun as replacing them costs twice as much. I took a quick look at my wishlist yesterday, which as of now is mostly stuff that I only sorta kinda want if the price is right, and decided to take a pass on the sale.

I was just too tired after grinding on some game trying to get triggers to fire so that I could advance the story, and wasn't in the mood to mess with yet more cart Jenga at that moment.

The fact that for the most part, the 'deals' on Monday and Tuesday are usually watered down a bit more to 'compensate' for double tokens is also annoying.

My store credit balance is a bit low, but I'm not sure if I'll go for the 'recharge' at 20% minus 'buy-in' price. It's a better deal than 10% off at least. I've grabbed most of the 'Legacy' items that I wanted already in past sales over the years, so it's pretty much just 'scrolling and scrolling' through the list to try to find some item that I might have not noticed before. In short, it's a chore...

In short, yeah not really excited about today's sale, but 20% off gift cards with 'buy-in' is something at least. Not as good as past 'fairly rare' deals of 30% off or more, so meh... but my Daz+ membership was extended a bit, so now I'll be putting off the Premier thing even longer.

Over at Renderosity, are pretty much more of the same. This 65% off sale ends in about 15 hours, which might be of interest if you haven't fired off your monthly Prime coupon yet (if Prime).
