found some game breaking bugs in the VN mode...
1) when visiting Luna if you pick the option of *hug* then it will transfer you out of VN mode into your room at which point you can go back to *visit luna* and if you pick *hug* again it will permanently lock you out of the VN mode.(this is also a mod issue since its highlighted in green...)
2) when asking Isabel for something to eat it will also break the VN mode.
I playtested VN mode of the game (speedran it) before Hopes released it on Steam, and it worked just fine other than one bug which Hopes quahsed back then (which wasn't what you're mentioning).
Loaded your uploaded saves to my pc, and they both work 100% fine on my end with no issues.
Since you seem to be using a mod, I'd assume the issue is with the mod you're using, given that with the raw game everything works fine.
as for the VN mode in general... it locks you out from watching the recording as well as watching the dream scenes(getting notifications about unlocking new dreams when we cant see them is frustrating...) which is a shame... especially the recordings since they give some extra info to the unfolding events...
Wet Dreams don't have any relevance to the story and are only renders.
In fact, Hopes has said before (to me) that it might be possible they may be removed altogether for season 2 cause they don't really serve that much of a purpose. That was a while ago, and not sure what his thoughts on it now though.
As for recordings, well I guess I can ask Hopes later about it whether he's willing to add it in VN mode in the future or not.
But players who go through the game in VN mode should bear in mind that by not choosing Full Experience, or even Just Story, there are certain features of the game they're likely to be missing out.
Recording is one of them, another one is Codex.
Why don't you say what's going on then? Not everyone has the time to check what is going on with every porn game out there. We check what is released and when it is released and when we see that something has not been updated in years it's natural to be sceptic.
lol you do realize, there is a thing called "Changelog" in the OP?
I specifically asked the moderator this morning to add the last two lines of "added" so people know what they're getting into;
And Trojaner and I had the following convo;
Do ya really think that Peops will read that. Don't think they will.
My pessimistic mind tells me they won't.
But we can make fun of those folks for not even making use of their few remaining brain cells
not to mention saves explaining the whole "What's new" post lol.
So far, several are proving us both right.
Have they stopped the patreon payments during all that time or can we assume all of these things are just excuses to get the supporters money?
From what I can tell Hopes didn't stop the Patreon payments.
But what is your point even with that question? lol
With Patreon, yes there's the monthly Patreon subscription payments, but it's not like the Patrons were forced to continue supporting Hopes. That's not how Patron works.
The onus is on the Patreon subscriber him/herself on whether to continue supporting Hopes or unsubscribe and support another dev.
In fact, I'm surprised at how often I have to remind people of this post below;
lol seems like you're basically misunderstanding the whole point of Patreon itself.
The platform is a modern take on the classic concept of "patronage."
Historically, artists such as painters, musicians, and authors sometimes relied on wealthy donors' patronage to finance their work.
Patreon takes that core concept and enables a much larger audience to finance artists and content creators they like at affordable monthly rates.
So basically, what patrons did before and still doing are making an investment in the content creator (HopesGaming in this case). They like Hopes' work and (those who can and decides to) wish to support him by giving him virtual tips like
Alt_F4 said above.
It's not a "I gave you X, so you must give me Y" transaction as you are implying.
