the steam version sucks. it doesn't work for me i just download and unzip then click play, a notepad opens with a bunch of errors.
i thought it was becoz of the gallery unlock mod so deleted the folder and opened a new one (without the unlock)....the notepad still persisted.
i gave up, its not worth it if it does shit like this, i miss the OG version.....

Well, for majority of people Steam version works fine.
I've tested the Steam version on my 2 laptops; literal toaster laptop I use for work, as well as my gaming laptop (though I guess it's a little bit old now too, though not toaster level lol), and both works fine every time.
If you suspect gallery unlock mod, then you should try it again with a clean reinstall raw without any mods installed (perhaps that's what you did).
And if that doesn't work, then I don't know what to say other than it's an issue from your PC's end; given it's not an issue repeated by almost all the players.
It's not the Steam version's fault.

Those error messages are usually quite informative. If not for you, then for those potentially able to help you.
Without them try a clairvoyant next time. We can only guess by your description what might be wrong, without having any actual clue.
How many people are waiting for season 2? Will it actually come out or has the developer decided to give up on this game?

Everything is pretty much right as far as I remember, a few small tweaks, Rina was actually fiancee of Dante at the time of that photo, and I think (it's not confirmed) Don Silverino was fiancee of Cordia. Rina and Don Silverino did betray Cordia, and MC is indeed their son.
As for who Antonio's parents are, I am 99.99% sure it's Lumina (Younger sister of Cordia, Cordia killed her) and Don Profaci (he is one of the big5), why do I think that? Well codex makes it clear he is NOT Cordia's son, and in the pile of old contracts there is the name 'Antonio Profaci', and because it also states that eldest son of Don Profaci was taken hostage at the end of War.
