I agree. Wilfred can make and implement important decisions on his own from behind the scenes. At least he's a partner in leadership.

Will this morality system, which gives us points for the decisions we make, be important in the future?
And why is it so difficult to understand
I don't understand why installing cameras is moral but audio recording is not and there are more such cases. It's as if the game is judging that being totally ruthless and having no mercy towards your enemies is moral. Is this about mafioso morality and not general morality? But then the game again judges that the fact that Joey used the gun is not moral or that we consider honor and integrity to be important when talking to Serpent. And why is it also moral to remain silent during the attack on the beach house and not to stand up for Luna and Gracie?

"Morality" is the stats term that is used inside the code for the game.
For the player, the game refers to it as "Dispassion" (check the quoted post below)
Hence, High morality stat by code = High Dispassion of MC in game.
As for what's to be done with Morality/Dispassion etc in game's future, I asked Hopes about this back in June and he said it's "yet to be decided."

Only when the update drops we'll know whether he was working on the game full time or not. Nothing changed since he left his actual job. It's the same shit ever again like when he had the job. Hell we don't even know if he's not lying about the job.
There's no excuse if you can't be bothered to give an update to his supporters when you are working on the game fulltime. He doesn't even pause the payments when he's supposedly not working.

Not talking about discord. Last time I checked you don't need no money to talk with dev or get updates in discord. I'm talking about the paying supporters in patreon. Also it's not like he made an announcement in discord or something. He dm'd some guy about his status, not about the game status. I see nothing in that post talking about the game of his except that update is nowhere near in sight.
Tell me who should actually get to know about the status of the game first?

If you really are a paying supporter, why even complain about it on a pirate site when you really should be voicing your complaints/criticisms on his patreon?

I was one, not anymore, drawn my conclusion and I will see, if in the future that will change again. Interesting thing about Patreons are, the neither sheps nor dumb, just your normal average humans. Sure the zone is a bad example for average, but...
So, if someone give or not give his hard earned money to some dev, it is his and only his fucking problem alone. Different people have different opinions and that ends with different result.
I agree, that a dev should inform their supporter somehow regulary on how the status is - no need to write a novel, but few sentence that cover the important part of the message.
