So, dev released the game ( unfinished so far ) on steam and ditched? I played it for a bit but if it's really abandoned, then i'm not even gonna give it more time.

i do wish devs, not just him, to post at least once every 3 months on patreon. 3 months is a long enough time. a month can pass just like that so i understand not posting in a month, but to go past 6 months without posting on patreon is a long enough time to put aside time to post something.

Fair, but not all devs just go radio silence, and again, this VN wasn't some minor one, it was a long-going, large fanbase one.
Honestly, for such VN I'd expect there's discord channel, few friends/colleagues that worked/tested game for Hopes etc.

Definitely wouldn't expect it to just all stop for few months without any info on why.
