my dear simp, if the dev is slow doesnt mean he is milking.
or would you say some other devs with slower updates are milkers just for that reason(if that is the case than almost every dev is a milker as he aims for the money)?
hell, i even dont think icstor is a milker, despite all those haters - he has a great game, and he works on a few more projects, and surely he will deliver it in time. and milfy city is well worth of waiting, and i just can imagine how good other/new games will be...damn now im having hard time to wait for that too.

Okay, following is a character that I don't see really get discussed:

Layla Kaskar (or wife of "Pops", Jalen & Charvi's mother).
So far, all we know is the slipper that she throws at Pops when he gives the boys (MC & Jalen) advice, but if I'm being honest I'd like to know more.

What she looks like, has she really got a temper or was the slipper just an instance of annoyance/anger?
Because yes, Pops basically became a foster father figure when MC as a kid came to live in the Kaskar Family, and I think Layla would have been just as influential in shaping MC's character as a person from his childhood as Pops was.

We'll probably get to find out in our trip to the Kaskar Family estate.

It's still probably a while away, but regardless I'm looking forward to it.

So far, the game hasn't been that heavy on flashbacks usage other than My name is Luna event (which was huge), but in my eyes I think there would obviously be some threads in the story that would require some extensive flashbacks usage again. In Layla's case, I think the story may benefit from such flashbacks as:

- MC's first meeting with not just Jalen, but the whole Kaskar Family
- perhaps some lessons Layla gives to MC and her children as well
- Jalen, Charvi & MC get in trouble and Layla punishes them

She's not as big character as the main 4 girls, but her character sure has the potential to be multi-layered in terms of personality and psyche, and not just become a one-dimensional typical housewife, if her story is delved into more.

this is my very first serious talk here so bear with me please .
like most people here i played this game for the story and character development for each character. not for fab or sex scene. BUT
NGL this game was my top 3 games in this site . and i had high hope for the game to be completed but the way the game is heading it will never be completed .
the dev started with 3 amazing updates with max 2\3 month development ... then the excuses started (i'm ill / i had accident / i had family problems you name it ) when the excuses become too much he had an new excuses (IT JUST A HOBBY).
then the gap between each update started to get bigger from 2/3 month to 6/8 month and now if and that is a big if he deliver an update in the end of this month it will complete one year without an update .( i just wont him to be honest with himself before us)

before some of you start coming for my head i wont you to know that i really love this game but the way thing going is so frustrating to watch.
and i'm sorry if what i said is annoying for some of you but i had to say it .. i will take my leave now good luck with your game man i really hope you complete your game one day .

says calmly: I can see where you are coming from but you said so yourself the first updates took 2-3 months, and then he had real-life problems which account for a double-time 6-8 months or so(not forgetting holidays, family time, personal time, and work time), and then we have this update that is bigger than any other, it is basically remaking the game, and people are disappointed and surprised it takes longer than 8 months? if you account for the normal 2-3, plus the problems covid brought 6-8 plus remaking a significant system change it is only logical to become 12-16 months, it is the same passing that it ever was, I'm not hating or bashing you but your logic makes no sense to me.

And for present day scenes, I'd actually love for there to be some sort of interaction between Cordia & Wilfred with Pops and Layla, with both Kaskars questioning (with reactions ranging from skepticism to threats [like Jalen did towards Luna and Gracie]) whether the MC being with the DeLucas is the best for his wellbeing.

Interactions like that would go a long way towards character developments (for both Pops and Layla), and in my eyes would involve quite a bit of interesting dialogue (maybe also add Antonio in the mix for that meeting, since he tends to be on the short tempered in terms of personality, and might just make the meeting volatile in some instances, between him and Pops interactions).

I also don't remember Hopes ever saying being a game dev was his job. Hopes said from the very beginning that making games was a hobby, which he does outside his actual job.

Just my theory, but I'm getting the feeling Pops will get backstabbed by his brother (Jalen's uncle), and die, leaving Jalen & Charvi (and possibly Layla, though she might just die with her husband) to take asylum with the DeLucas, joining their side.

oh yeah, I forgot that the uncle was still alive, I could have sworn Jalen had killed him already, well then maybe we will have the MC help Jalen deal with the uncle and then Pops visits the Deluca to actually understand what happened.
