Riddled with DRMs, and us players hoping that some pirate group breaks the encryption whenever they are in the mood or feel it's profitable? Of-course I know that won't happen anytime soon but, do you really want devs to start slipping in that direction en masse? Because I know a few AVN games that are already dabbling in this tech to at least delay piracy.

I really don't want to hijack this thread discussing this topic. I know I stand in a public forum dedicated to sharing games and in the end, to each their own. All I can do is make a case for the sake of the game's long term health. So many good games are abandoned for reasons out of our control. Perhaps, we can at least consider showing restraint on reasons that are in our control? Just my 2 cents.

I'm not a part of this at all, but there is a group of devs developing a sever based renpy launcher where the game is streamed through an app to logged in paying supporters. None of the game files are installed on the person's computer, so it could never he pirated. If they pull this off, then that will really hurt sites like this. I feel like that would end up being a bad thing because the community will dwindle. I just wish it never got to this point and devs didn't feel like this was necessary. Sure it sucks when my game gets leaked in less than a week, but I also feel like without this community, I never would have got to the point where I'm making a bit of decent money for my time.

I agree, even though it's a pirate site, it exposes people (potential patrons) to a lot of games. Anything I sub to now, was pretty much found here first.

Ok, this was a little far fetched (along with some other minor things. I would have loved to have the corruption here even slower, but it is alright for a medium-burn corruption game, I think. At least she knows that her boyfriend really likes this (didn't she even ask him about this?) and maybe she is a little naive and maybe a little opend minded when it comes to toughing people. Absolutely right. I have many Patreonships that I discovered here. For me, it is like a testing ground. I the game sucks or is only mediocre, I don't join it on Patreon. But I would only joins devs if they have a 1$ or 2$ tier to try an older version at least. So the dev might have gotten just peanuts from me.
But if I find a good game here, I join, if there is a 3$ or less tier there. If not, I just join from time to time (and forget it sometimes completely to re-join).
Only if the game is excellent, I consider joinig higher tiers.

But nevertheless, you are absolutely right when it comes to games that are released for free some days after being on Patreon. I honor those developers. Either I wait a week or I give them a little money.

I just find contradictory a moral allegation against piracy in a pirate site. That's how most people found this site and many more had dicided to support devs after it. If people want to ask for a leak, that's it. If anyone want to share it or not is up to them.

the games are free anyways...freebies will get to play during public release........idk whats the point of asking for leaks? wait for couple of week, everyone can play it..it's not running away. Developer didn't said that the game wil be limited only to paid members. But just in case if he's providing few perks to paid subscribers like early access...then let them have it.

yeah I rarely play games now days from their leaks and wait for public as I got enough of a backlog of AVN's and normal games only will play some leaks depending on my mood and the game. This probably one of the games id play if it gets leaked before public since I enjoy it alot so far. But I never really saw the big deal in waiting we wait months already what is a few more weeks.

Agreed. Oh jeez, that would ruin the market actually. I find games on this site and if I like them, I support the Dev. I imagine a lot of people do the same. Not going to search through Patreon or Subscribestar for VNs. I get the plight of some Devs, but you have significant reach on F95, that you may not get alone. Just saying...

Neither do I but they will always exist. I have not problem waiting for devs or anyone else sharing it when is public but also don't go around pointing or shaming if anyone ask for a leak in a pirate site. I'll just leave it there, lets not fill this thread with discusion that has nothing to do with the game itself.

I currently have 741 games and mods on my list, I know which have updated at the click of a refresh. It's going to freak some users as you need to give the database your login details (how else would it work?). But it means you never miss a new update and so never run out of things to be getting on with.

Early versions had some stability issues but I haven't had a problem in years. It also tells you when a game gets deleted/banned from the forum, usually because of age issues.

I myself have an excel file that I update after finishing each game. I've it tagged with the name, genre it has that attracted me, the last version I played(mostly cause I skip bunch of updates before playing again), my personal rating and my remarks about what about the game I liked or disliked and whether it is worth playing again or not. Also I delete files after they end up on my database to keep my drives clean.

No doubt, F95 checker is still pretty handy to track a specific list of games, so I do keep it paired with my sheet.
