My perception is that the developer will increasingly focus on the NTR route. This is likely due to it being the path that generates the most money. Now that he hired someone to help, he needs more revenue, and he is opting for the easiest way to earn it, transforming a game that was excellent into an "NTR piece of garbage."

Regarding Kat, in the route where she betrays Luke, I believe she will remain silent, continuing the betrayal behind his back. This is something that, up until one update ago, would have made no sense for her character, but the developer has simply thrown that coherence away.

In the other route, where she did nothing, the situation is also disheartening: I believe Luke won't trust her. He will always suspect she did something, especially when she mentions they slept in the same motel room. The distrust will be intensified by the fact that Luke knows his father desires Kat.

The developer was desperate to give us a reason not to complain about Kat's actions in this update. However, for those who have always remained faithful (to Luke), this makes no sense, just like this entire ridiculous update.

It is seriously disappointing. I don't see how the next update can be good without the changes that so many fans are asking for.

Or maybe, and this is the darkest part, this is exactly what he wants: for their relationship to deteriorate more and more. With Kat thinking Luke betrayed her and Luke thinking she slept with his father, the relationship is likely to end, as she told Pat that she "might come back single from vacation." Why would he include that dialogue if he wasn't thinking of bringing their relationship to an end?

What makes me the most furious is that he thinks he doesn't need to change this now, and intends to make this alteration only late in the game. He must have seen the number of people asking for this fix, and it would not be a big deal to implement it. He is killing his own game and still maintains this decision, even with fans trying to help him undo this mess he created.

NTS turning into NTR is terrible shit.

One of the downsides I see from the slow updates is that I couldn't remember who were the main characters, nor what game style I had chosen in my saves - I think I'll have to start over again...

It's interesting how everyone perceives it. In my opinion, Pat just wanted to have a nice evening, and Luke went ballistic with every single sentence from the very beginning. Luke was aggressive from the start.

The typical father/son unresolved problems.

Okay, I finished the update, and despite it being very short—no more than half an hour of gameplay—I wish it had been a bit longer, especially since the wait was six months. Still, I’d say it’s the best update ever.

I don’t understand those who complain about the AI scenes; as a first attempt from Bobby, I find them good, and I’m sure he will improve them in upcoming updates.
Don’t forget how the scenes used to be in previous updates — how poor and modest they were.

Bobbyboy48 , don’t pay attention to those losers; you did a great job in this update. AI motion scenes was so good and better than before.
But please, don’t disappear for too long. Release updates every 3 months as you promised, and you’ll see your subscribers count rise as long as they’re assured the updates will keep coming.

lol damn you are a fast reader. Took me like 3 - 4 hours roughly maybe slightly less cause I had to waste sometime getting my saves in order tho that took no more than 10 min - 15min probably a bit less.

tho I can't agree with your statement about it being a good update or AI unless you only care about NTR and even then im not sure. While I don't hate the AI I 100% think the animations felt better before I only found the AI acceptable for the scenes that didn't have sex in it. When someone pointed out to me how I was wrong about no AI being used in the sex scenes it kind of ruined the Pat scene for me , because now when I look at it I look closely at it and see the flaws I don't like about it but not enough for me to say AI ruined the game yet.

I think the real issue with the AI usage the more I think about is how much it is used. Because it slowly not feeling like the game I used to love but just an AI game because how many AI animations there are. While that isn't an issue for me in this update it's more or less something I worry about in future updates cause if he used this much AI now what is the game gonna look like 3 updates from now.

I will say it probably only a good update if all you care about is Cheating sex scenes tho I don't think the cheating sex scene even makes any scenes personally. To me it feels very forced and out of character but not nearly as out of character as the dance scene , even with the horny drug I feel it makes no sense. Hell I think the Franlyn cheating scene would of make more sense than the Pat one if more happened.

While I didn't have as much issue with her staying and not leaving with Luke initially. As time went on and I think about it become more of an issue for me. Because your choices didn't matter for that scene in ch 7 , you aren't given a choice if Kat leaves or stays and she acts in away that isn't like her usual self. While it didn't ruin her character for me because when I think how I would of acted if I was her with my personality I can understand why she what she did more.

Then not having a choice for separate rooms and having ZERO NTS scenes is the Cherry on top and a slap in the face. Especially because there was a setup for 1 or 2 possible sharing scenes but nothing happened. It feels almost like Bobby went out of his way to avoid including any sharing scenes for no reason , which makes me worry this game is gonna turn into a pure NTR game now.

Just adding a scene to go home with Luke would improve things dramatically imo. This chapter took a big shit all over Kathryn's character.

That's the one story element that I think was just completely wrong. There are some others - practically nothing happening with Franklin/Nate during drinks, in what should almost certainly have been a hot sharing scene - but the dance on a non-solo night was all wrong. There shouldn't even have been a choice, Kathryn should have just turned and shrugged at Pat, if even that, and then followed Luke and (presumably) got a taxi home. She should never have gone there with Luke and not gone home with him. The only way that would work is if Luke has been fucking other women this whole time and somehow it came out during the argument - that would have given her a genuine reason to be mad and to not go home with Luke, but that wasn't what happened.

I only saw it because I was going through the script for the bit below, but there's a second variant which only comes up if both "lukebad" and "kathbad" are set to "1" ("true"), and which is really weird, because in that variant Luke has been pushing Kathryn to do stuff and then gets mad at her for it. In that one she says she could see him grope her mom's ass in the kitchen (reflection in the splashback) and wonders what they got up to in the bathroom, and she raises what Clem told her about the shower situation. They argue, Luke leaves, and then Pat arrives and Kathryn tells him Luke wasn't feeling well so he left. That one works better, and more like how it should be, except the reason for it coming up in the first place makes no sense at all.

man now I hate that scene even more cause if that is forced. This might as well be a FMC to me i'm gonna keep playing Because of Kathryn despite hating this update the more I think about it. If that happens I probably won't bother finishing it even just for Kathryn even if they can get back together.

I just checked the script and it comes up regardless,even though there are two variations (I'd only seen one). I put a bit in the last paragraph in my reply to Joshy above about that second one.

If you play the path dance with Pat (optional cheating!) alone - the storyline is ok…

But the storyline dance with Luke is absolute ridiculous and should be deleted as option completely.

You've sort of answered your question yourself there - it's not hating Kathryn for finally cheating (at least, not for me), it's finding the way it happened to be really badly done, in regard to the fight with Luke, being hardcoded to spend the night with Pat (even if nothing happens), and having the choices to tease and then fuck Pat on all routes, even when Luke and Kathryn have been totally loyal to each other up to that point.

I don’t know what your problem is with the dance scene; you had the option to cancel it, just as you had the option to refuse Pat’s request to escort Kath for the night out.
I give this chapter a 9 out of 10, and that’s only because it was too short.

I put my thoughts on the AI animations in a post yesterday, so won't go into it all again, but I think some were okay but a lot were poorly done - lots of noise around everything but Kathryn, clear change in colour or feel in transition between still and animation, movements too wooden. I just don't think they were good enough quality. The other issue I had is that there were far too many of them. They were used at every possible opportunity, it feels, and it became a big distraction.

The only thing you could cancel as far as the dance goes is whether to masturbate/tease/fuck in the room with Pat. Kathryn goes dancing no matter what, it's just a case of whether Luke goes as well. And whether Luke goes or not, Kathryn ends up in the motel with just Pat. That's what should have been cancellable. I eventually found it in the script, but there isn't an option to refuse Pat's request to take Kathryn dancing, it's only whether it's just the two of them, or three:

The drug angle in the game was a bad idea from the start, no good could come of it. Hopefully he can save things in the next update, although i doubt it. It's hard to stop a boulder once you set it rolling down a hill.

This assumes that Luke and Kat follow the 'Pure Path'. (NTS/NTR will never be my cup of tea )
