Maybe we share a ride home, quiet, awkward, or maybe just misses us and catches cab home arriving pretty much same time. We have a talk at home, apologies from us, talking stuff out, making up, leading to sex, making Love, ending the night with cuddles and sleeping.

Instead we got an assassination of Kathryn's character, that dev said let's keep going, let's ruin all previous moments like her crying in past doesn't matter anymore, etc. with other moments.
Like now I don't want Kathryn at all, she can just go unless this is fixed. And IF I was to ever play again, might as well just Cheat cause Bobby showed us Kathryn doesn't value or love us anyway with her staying.

So let down that the dev forced stuff, he should just make this kinetic at this point. And he won't care or change anything cause of all his loyal fan boys and subscibers defending him with whatever he puts out, calling us supposed "losers" cause we want a choice and for paths and characters to matter.

This is exactly what it should have been. You could even exclude the make-up sex, and just have him sleeping on the sofa or something, as that would have been perfectly reasonable - a bit more arguing at home, sleep on it separately, and then forgiveness in the morning on clearer heads.

I tell you Tony no other update I have ever played for an avn has upset me more than this. At one point I wanted to hurt myself because of it.

Even now days later I'm still sad and feel empty.

I don't know man, the AI animations were terrible, and the hand-made ones just looking robotic. The renders were pretty average. The script wasn't good at all. For me it even seems to be getting worse compared to the previous ones. Generally, developers tend to improve themselves and their update quality over time, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. So, this update never justified the enormous increase in production time for me. Bad.

yeah tbh while it did not kill her character for me because to many good memories of Kathryn to let that kill her character for me. I kind of using self insert logic if I was in her shoes on what I would do if it was me due to me being a introvert person that avoids conflict / people getting mad at me if I can help it. ( don't need to repeat what I would do for the 4th or so time). So I kind am forcing myself to be okay with the shit scene because of how much I like her character. I would say rather the update almost killed the game for me depending if the future is just pure NTR or not , while im okay with NTR as optional content to view just because I can't play this if it turns into a NTR game. I say this game has 1 - 2 more updates max to prove not gonna be pure forced NTR scenario's like in this update otherwise im probably gonna be done with it. As from my point of view even before this update NTR is out of character for Kathryn and is just there for NTR fans.

While not that extreme for me it kind of feels like when a game I love is abandoned. It's all I can think about why im kind of done with sharing games till I can stop thinking about the update and enjoy the game for Kathryn again. Cause despite the shit update it might still be my favorite sharing game I don't really get excited for any others I just play them whenever.

Honestly, I’m kind of relieved I’m not the only one feeling a bit let down by this latest update (I thought maybe it was just me having a bad day and that’s why I didn’t enjoy it).

There are definitely a few things that could be improved. The use of AI is fine, especially in the h-scenes, I don’t mind it at all, and if it makes the content better, then great. But… when the dev throws in unskippable cutscenes about stuff players don’t really care about (like the car driving or similar filler scenes), it gets a bit annoying because it breaks the flow.

And Luke being mad at Kathryn over the chat thing? I honestly don’t get it. It feels like drama for the sake of drama. We had reached a really good point where Luke and Kathryn were openly accepting (depending on the player’s choices) their new sharing kink, and that was working really well.

That said, this is still one of my favorite games in the sharing genre. The glory hole scene and the alleyway scene with the homeless guy are some of the best I’ve seen. It’s normal for updates not to please everyone, but I’m sure this game will end up being one of the top titles when it comes to sharing kink. This update was just a bump in the road (I hope ).

Should we even get into the ridiculous plot reason why they had to spend the night at a motel anyway? What, it was raining too much? Please...it's not like they were riding in a horse and cart. They were wet and wanted a shower? Man the hell up and wait until you get home. Put the damn blower on in the car and they would be dry in no time.
They were flirting up a storm at the restaurant and had more than one moment where they were giving each other the eye, during and after dancing. Just admit that they wanted to sleep together, instead of dumb plot reasons.

Most of the past few pages after this update reflect my feelings as well... seeing that the update took so long & was - in my opinion - done VERY poorly, I'll have another look at this game in 12-18 months (maybe there might be 3 updated in that time!! LMAO!!!)

Other than being less accepting of the AI being "fine" I agree with all of this. Hopefully this update will be a "testing the water" release on a couple of things and going forward they will be adjusted a bit. It's natural to make some changes based on how the project has been received - it just comes down to how it has been received by those who matter, which is the Patreons. If they are predominantly really pleased with this release, then I guess we'll continue leaning in this direction with future releases...

Good point about the rain. I could maybe see if it were really late and they were really tired. And/or the road being washed out or something. Even then I'd still look for a motel that had 2 rooms available. Or even one room with 2 beds.

And echoing others saying she should at least have the *option* of leaving with Luke instead of it hard coded to leave with scummy dad. Just my 2 cents worth.

Besides she was only saying what she thought he wanted to hear. I think it's meant to portray the inner conflict that he still has about it all. But how long is this meant to drag on for? Given how much they've already done together.
