We already know this, though - The couple go and sees a singer on their first date, where Luke May or May not get Rooffied and Kathryn may or may not have fun with some of the roadies. With them declaring their love shortly after. I don't think there is really a compelling story to tell there. Instead, it just sounds like Tony said, a way to tell a story about Kathryn in her slutty college days
Exactly. And then the image that we have of Kathryn at the start of TEB would be pretty much ruined IMO. She's no longer a loving and most of the time innocent girlfriend, but a reformed slut who would no doubt have fucked many old ugly bastards (because that is the most popular kink). Are you choosing to not understand what we are saying on purpose or? It's not the NTR or the choice of going through with the cheating that's the issue. It's the absence of any NTS content in a game that was previously only NTS or Loyal. Also the forced drama that makes zero sense if you have played a loyal Luke.All that everyone has to do is make the choice, multiple times, in the motel room for Kathryn to not go down the cheating path, like in tons of other AVN's that give you a choice to stay faithful or not.

It's nothing to do with NTS or anything like that - I just dont think there is a compelling story to tell about Luke and Kathryn before what happened here in this game - individually, there might be. Like a game about Kathryn at college with the end goal being meeting and getting with Luke. But just a slice of life game dealing with there dates etc? that be pretty boring.
Wait seriously? I know that there's a version, which was the first version that I played where everything is fine when Kat and Luke dance. But then Pat says something that triggers Luke again, Kat tells them both off. But then says to Luke "If you can't get along with your Dad you may as well just leave." then Luke calls her bluff and says "Ok then I'll leave" Kat tries to stop him but he ultimately leaves. Is this the version you are talking about?

While I doubt many artists get into creating porn for purely artistic reasons. There are some (a few) truly talented artists involved in porn making. Had they been painting or sculpting their work could rival even the greatest masters. After all the focus of most painters and sculptors is the human body, the same as those making porn.

I won't deny that most (not all) developers do this for money, but I pay to follow several who manage to create products without completely alienating significant portions of their fanbase through their writing.
We each see things differently and that's ok, but for me sharing/swinging are founded upon the couple respecting each other's boundaries; the "trust" is how this works.

In his last post, the developer made it clear he forced the situation with Pat. It was deliberate and there is no way to avoid it. The developer demands that she cheats (or at least creates significant belief that she cheats). We have no choice.
Well, for some players, once someone cheats the relationship is dead and there no longer is any reason to follow the story. What was supposed to be a game about sharing now has become a story about stealing and cheating.
