To me it seemed like it was more he snapped cause he was mad at himself for considering it. Which seemed kind of pointless to me cause we've seen Luke say the same thing a few times. I think he kind of even says something close to that if you apologize not sure id have to replay that part

Other than being less accepting of the AI being "fine" I agree with all of this. Hopefully this update will be a "testing the water" release on a couple of things and going forward they will be adjusted a bit. It's natural to make some changes based on how the project has been received - it just comes down to how it has been received by those who matter, which is the Patreons. If they are predominantly really pleased with this release, then I guess we'll continue leaning in this direction with future releases...Honestly, I’m kind of relieved I’m not the only one feeling a bit let down by this latest update (I thought maybe it was just me having a bad day and that’s why I didn’t enjoy it).
There are definitely a few things that could be improved. The use of AI is fine, especially in the h-scenes, I don’t mind it at all, and if it makes the content better, then great. But… when the dev throws in unskippable cutscenes about stuff players don’t really care about (like the car driving or similar filler scenes), it gets a bit annoying because it breaks the flow.
And Luke being mad at Kathryn over the chat thing? I honestly don’t get it. It feels like drama for the sake of drama. We had reached a really good point where Luke and Kathryn were openly accepting (depending on the player’s choices) their new sharing kink, and that was working really well.
That said, this is still one of my favorite games in the sharing genre. The glory hole scene and the alleyway scene with the homeless guy are some of the best I’ve seen. It’s normal for updates not to please everyone, but I’m sure this game will end up being one of the top titles when it comes to sharing kink. This update was just a bump in the road (I hope).

Well when he starts the game by saying on here how Kath wouldn't cheat because "It would be against her character" but then caves to financial pressure just shows that you can't trust what he says. Calling all NTS/sharing fans "freeloaders" is a real fucking stretch. Just because they are outnumbered on Patreon, they should be ignored?

Nate is an asshole so he's not getting anywhere near Kath. However the Franklin scene could have extended after Nate left. Kath tells Luke what happened, he asks them to show him and then he asks them to go further and Franklin fucks her brains out on the sofa, perhaps Luke even joined? Certainly would have been better than what we got IMO.
