We each see things differently and that's ok, but for me sharing/swinging are founded upon the couple respecting each other's boundaries; the "trust" is how this works.

I see cheating as breaking boundaries and breaking trust. I don't understand how you can have an actual sharing/swinging relationship if you don't trust your partner. To me the cheating broke the sharing and now they are just two people who used to shag each other. Perhaps the developer will force us to continue to allow it. If the developer will allow the reader to break the couple apart, that likely will be what I will do and then Kath can do whomever she wants and those who want to can watch her do busloads of men at once for all I care. Once she cheats, she's dead to me and so is the former relationship. But I'm not hopeful this will be an option for me.

Either way, I don't see this as a game any longer. It's a story now.

yeah I get what you are saying however since the cheating isn't forced just the setup is but the actual act of cheating is optional and the dance didn't kill Kathryn's character for me cause I see the situation a bit differently that most that dislike it. I do agree Kathryn should of left but for me trust was never broken by that scene. As I just see some things different or blame Luke a bit more not to mention I think how I would act if I was Kat which would not of been that much better do to my personality being a introvert that avoids conflict.

for NTR I do agree the transition between the 2 scenes was great but for NTR I feel that scene felt to out of character and rushed just to include NTR. Franklyn would of been a better NTR set up if it went past just the tip . I know horny water and all that but still I feel it doesn't make that much sense at the same time it was just porn logic.

A waste of a download, all this dev knows how to do is tease:
Forest chapter 2, the cops conveniently arrive right when they were about to go further.
Jail chapter 3 (I think), he conveniently cums just when she wants to move closer (she wants him to fuck her), and it clears up her mind.
Metro chapter 4, she conveniently arrives at her stop right before she puts his dick in her mouth.

If Kathryn and Pat fucked, that's player choice (and with two options before then to shut down what was a pretty obvious path towards it). The issue with the storytelling is the pretty ridiculous series of events that led to Kathryn and Pat being alone in a motel room in the first instance. If you're playing a loyal game, the argument and storming out seems really forced, there's talk from Kathryn about maybe coming back from Spain on separate planes, and it's just out of keeping with the game you might have been playing up to that point. Fair enough if you've been playing the game with both MCs getting their fill of other characters, but not every player and every save will have that history.

And then of course there's the very weak plot contrivance of "That's a lot of rain, maybe we should get a motel room instead of continuing in this car that is clearly up to the task of driving in sub-optimal conditions."

A few methods have already been posted by various people, but another pretty easy save for this path would be for Kathryn's call to actually get through to Luke, and for her to explain that they got caught in the storm and have had to stay in a motel, she's sorry they argued, and she loves him and will see him in the morning.

So yeah, it's not even about Kathryn fucking Pat (which, once again, is player choice), but that they should never have been in the motel room together in the first place, unless you've been playing a less than faithful save up to that point. And of course, the other complaint some have had is that it's suddenly all NTR and no NTS, which is again not an argument for asking for permission first, but an argument about the overall content of the episode, especially when there were sharing opportunities that were not taken (by the dev), and would always have been taken in previous episodes.

You used it as well - I think this whole point can be summed up with "contrived."

It feels contrived, not organic. We're not arriving at this point through emergent circumstances, it's very much an invisible hand pushing it towards a set conclusion. And some people don't like that feeling.

because the contrivance is so diametrically opposed to how some people had played prior. It's not analogous to a simple sex position choice like doggiestyle - unless it was a core aspect people had chosen against prior.

Try and imagine if there were a series of choices where Luke could participate in foot fetish stuff with Kath prior.....and now, even if Luke each time had answered "no I have no interest in foot stuff", an update came out where it was 3 sex scenes full of foot stuff, and the player had a choice only to enthusiastically agree, or to sit on the sidelines where Kath had her feet massaged (but not fully foot-fucked).

You'd be like "wtf is this shit? I have no interest in foot fetish stuff and I made choices accordingly"

exactly even if his goal to always have Kat and Pat end up in the motel together there is a better way to execute it than make Kat feel out of character
