Not sure what you meant or said, but the dev has a right to take his game in any direction he chooses. There's no law that says he is compelled to follow his original plan. He's a free citizen and can change his mind. If it was your game you would feel the same.

then he should of said he was going to change directions and start to add that NTR and not leave us in the dark and assuming he was sticking to his original plans. Sure we could of guess it was coming because of choices that appeared in Ch 7 but he could of at the very least said something. Hell would of been nice for this chapter to know to not expect any NTS at all and only NTR , then the disappointment wouldn't of been so bad. Since alot of his original fans were here for the NTS and that is what he built the game around initially and said so until he changed his mind.

But it shouldn't have been a surprise. The dev showed that she was conflicted with doubts right from the start. I don't know if there even is a good wife path. I play this way because nobody really gets hurt (it's just ink), and it allows you to see and experience this type of life. I find it cringeworthy at times, like this last part. But what I see most is the emotions involved, especially the aftermath, after the heat has cooled off. This is epic stuff. If you can't separate the game from reality, then you shouldn't play, and I'm not trying to be mean about it. TBH, I thought about the ending after it was all over, and I was exhausted from struggling with it. But, after a while, I got over it and enjoyed the story. If you can't separate, I understand, and for your own good, don't torture yourself. It's cool. People are different.

I am saying that, on love and nts path that Scene is simply BAD writing... it does not make sense, it completly flips her character without any reason given, she just does it because the scene demands that behaviour, despite it making ZERO sense... I can see how that scene would be fitting and even great for a ntr-playtrough or a very negative nts-playtrough maybe... but as the next quoted post says, especially on the love route that whole development is just straight up garbage.

It's fine to like the scene, hell, if I was on the ntr-path and played it I would probably think it was a great scene myself, because that is where the scene fits... but for love/nts the dev shoehorns it in without any thought about how absolute bullshit it is there...

If the Dev wants to go full ntr that is their right... but then make that clear and tell people "this is a ntr game without love or sharing paths", not pretend that we can have them and then force us into the ntr path anyway

Just went through the title to the end of Chapter 8. I was running the pure love, no NTR, no showing off, no encouragement to be bad or exhibitionist, no nothing. Absolutely 100% always chose Kathryn every single time. So, beach scene comes, another glory hole scene and she runs away. Luke comes running and she's so happy he's her hero and she loves that so much. Him protecting her and loving her.

Then they all go dancing. Luke is her hero right. Pat is ALL OVER HER. Non-stop pressure and it rightly pisses Luke off. He confronts Pat and what happens... the girl who just said at the beach that he was her hero is completely oblivious to Pats advances and THEN she tells Luke if he can't be nice to his Dad he should leave.

What the fuck. I mean I guess the author was setting up the plot for the whole rain, motel scene but seriously. You basically murdered this title as far as this love path reader is concerned. Yes Kathryn has been a ding-a-ling in a few cases but this... taking sides against Luke. Her hero. Telling him to leave. Her hero. I'm done. Renders are great, writing is good, no shade on folks who like the other routes but I can't continue. Peace folks.

While agree it does make more sense for a NTR playthrough the scene it's self I still feels like bad writing for NTR it's just good cause it's a hot scene but the act of Kathryn cheating feels like it came out of the blue to me . Therefore, there has to be a framework, which means there are situations we can't control. It's simply not a sandbox game. And even those have a storyline.

Sure, you can always disable anything you don't like. But then you won't get much enjoyment out of the game because you won't actually see anything. You have to choose an option. The argument isn't because Kathryn didn't get in touch all night... The argument was at the club during dancing, where Kathryn's character was turned upside-down so she would rail at Luke and then tell him to leave, while she would stay with Luke's despised father, resulting in her ending up in a motel room with him and leading to the choices to fool around and then go further and cheat. It's not hard to actually read what people are saying when they explain their positions (multiple times).

Your point is well taken and I support what you said. I don't have to agree with everything you say, but that just makes for sharing ideas and thoughts. The dev should have done this and should have done that, maybe. He does what he does and you can continue playing or not, liking it or not. My original point was commenting on how the dev was able to stir emotions and feelings, good or bad, because that in itself takes real talent and writing skills.
