So does this version allow for players to use the orb on the succubus? Cause that is one character I have been hoping to see us being able to use the orb on. Sorry if I sound demanding but she seems like an interesting character and the possibilities for what could happen with a succubus under the effects of the (either side of the) orb have been running rampant through my mind since I first saw that little promp but was told that content wasn't in the game yet.

So based on a few of the most recent comments here, I've got a question.
How come by retreading the same path I've taken many months ago when I first checked this game out, I still run into the same "This is where version 0.11 ends, thanks for playing" message (not in those words), followed by nothing. Am I taking some super-obscure path the dev forgot about or what's going on?

Though it's a bit tricky because it's not like Ren'py of course. You need to open the game and keep it that way (you can even just stand in the main menu without actually going into the game), navigate toward the "AppData" path, Local and then "temp". Here it's the tricky part, you need to search for the folders that starts with "nw" and can be different for everyone. For example mine is "nw1960_20519" and once inside, you can find all of the folders within the "Data" one. Here's some proof, just like I said

Oh, screw it let's make 500 more alternative paths for romances which no one asked for and then cut our game! Oh no we only have to write text, pictures, and some script but our updates are slower than Unreal engine games :( This is why I do not recommend this game despite its interesting plot, they are just milking money from people by adding unimportant stuff which never allows you to progress in the story. I mean how hard it takes to write some dialogue, ask your artist to draw some pictures and create a script compared to games like "The twist" which is fully 3D game with animations, 3D models and it receives faster updates than this one.

Can we get a note added to the OP that the MAC version requires Wine emulation?

It's dumb, but that's how the dev is doing it.

Drawing can be more time consuming than 3D.
If you wanted to have the same scene but from a different angle, in 3D you would just need to position the camera differently whereas in 2D you would need to redraw most stuff.

I took a look at "The twist", right off the bat I recognized a few models taken from somewhere else, nothing wrong with that, having to model each and every thing yourself would take a really long time, it is much easier to download something if it fits the art style you are looking for, unfortunately you cannot do that in 2D. You need to draw everything yourself.

I have never played the twist so I cannot comment on their script but writing is not an easy task either, it is not like writing a reply on a forum thread which takes a couple of minutes... At least in Fate of Irnia I have recognized they are going for a "Hero's journey" type of design, to have that many paths which connect relatively well to the story they are aiming for means they had some kind of plan ahead and they do not just go with "Oh well, it's another beautiful day, let's write some crap to make our patreons happy". There is a lot of work behind in that sense, too.

All things considered, his updates are quite fast and frequent, while maintaining a good quality.

I agree that their choice of adding a lot of beginnings that lead to a few minutes of gameplay each (at least at the very beginning of this game) was not something good but considering what they are trying to do, they did not have much choice unless they took some choices off and made it more linear UNTIL they decided to add those other planned routes but if they had done that, they would limit the diversity in the cast, I personally prefer the orc, for instance.

The cutting of content is something I do not agree with, too.
From my understanding, the dwarf was cut out and she was one of the characters I was looking forward to.

I just used his work as an example there are better games than "The Twist" and I find making models harder than drawing you might disagree but that's my opinion as you need to first draw concept how your model is going to look and then you need to create it and it must look decent in art all you have to do is to draw it and you do not have to bother with modeling.

The dwarf slave path exactly felt as you said "Oh well, it's another beautiful day, let's write some crap to make our patreons happy" it was an unnecessary and weird path which was weird that's why it got cut I agree that they are now finishing their paths and they are no longer trying to create another romance paths but that doesn't change the fact how this game is getting delayed because of their too many paths and I think they have already announced a new game so that also says something about them.

I think creating 4 paths would be enough 1) mother 2) Drow 3) Orc 4) Sandy I even find Death route absurd because of the way how she is interested in you is ridiculous.

I like Death, she is my favorite character although I prefer the looks of the orc. It is just personal preference, I think they are objectively all well written, I did not see anything forced, really.

You are under the assumption that people take their time to draw concept arts and then model everything themselves... That is really far from the truth unless they have big teams or are AAA companies.
I would say the majority has models purchased off Daz3D or somewhere else, other minor objects do not really require concept art... If I had to model a tea cup, I could do that fairly fast despite not having too much experience with 3D.

As for character creation, even if they were to model them themselves from scratch (Very unlikely considering DAZ3D or similar), they would need to model only the base body, that is it.
Different hair styles, morphs, etc. would be things you add to it, it is not like they have to model a character from scratch each and every time.
Same goes for animation, once you rig the base, all the animations you do for that single rig will work for all the other characters.

There is no white or black here, really.
Both 2D and 3D have their advantages and time consuming tasks, one is not easier than the other, this includes Fate of Irnia and whatever other 3D game you have in mind.

The only difference that applies only here (Related to porn games, specifically, from what I have seen) is that 3D has many tools to make your life easier (Character creation, to be more specific) whereas in 2D you either draw the stuff or you do not.
It is the reason why 3D games are so much more common than 2D ones.

There are a lot of games nowadays that uses the same Daz3D models (you can recognize them easily at the official store), even use the same "role" they saw on another game.

Now I have read the walkthrough and seen most of the routes currently available in the game, my question is will there eventually be a way to get all the women in a route? or is there a way to get multiple routes at the end(for example, there is mom+sis but is there mom+sis+aunt) already? Also is there anyway to get the queen?

Edit: Found a glitch, when on sandy romance route on the morning after you give her cunningulis and have already received the report for how you are doing, visiting roland should allow you get normal dialog options like anything you can teach me(leading to him giving you the book of diplomacy) but instead it just keeps replaying the report from roland, the sparring with the captain and the red/blue option associated with it. Edit 2: Same thing seems to happen with aunt katrin vanilla route.

I would love an harem ending (mostly because you can tell mom you don't want to settle with only one woman when prompted).
