haven't played in a while, and I see that this game got a huge overhaul.

So is going to the classroom gonna have the head teacher loop his orientation over and over?

About the rape subject: Sam doesn't have to enjoy rape per se.

1. The "broken virgin" path is already very good. Where Sam becomes slutty, something like "I am already screwed so why not?"

2. When she has sufficiently high desire and maybe appropriate perks you can make it so she doesn't quite consider it rape anymore.

I loved commando perk! Sadly doesn't go far enough. Some story-related clothes still get undewear...

Also it can softlock you because you are naked somewhere. Need to add some perk that allow you to wander around naked (even if in a half-unwilling manner).

Yep. Even more grindy, more restrictive and even more retarded than before*, that's what this update is about. As many other people have mentioned in the reviews, the author's idea of "game play" is basically to grind. Grind to gain stats, grind to gain stuff (RNG shopping, scavenging etc). Work your ass off everyday to gain just 1 point of fitness and then lose 2 points whenever you sleep... I expect that it'll get worse and worse.

* Not to mention, way buggier.
IDK, seems to me that it doesn't take that much time to get into shape these days.

Assuming you never miss school (and school sucks. It will eat your mood and confidence really fast as is right now. It's not without benefit though, as it will drip feed you smarts, fitness, and occasionally allow you to earn a few hundred bucks.) you can get to 40+ish fitness by just being a bit diligent for about an in game week.

That's going from clearly fat to trim in *seven in game days* where you prioritize school. Compared to some of the more simulationist games out there, that's positively lightning fast.

Getting to "perfect fitness" (80-ish) takes about an in-game month, give or take a few days because RNG. Mind you, actually capping your fitness is basically impossible, I think. Of course, once we actually have to pay rent, things are going to slow down.

(I've played several simulationist games in the same vein as this one where getting to that level of physical fitness would take several in-game months.)

If I were going to complain about a grind, it'd be confidence/willpower. It's difficult to raise, easy to lose, and the consequence of not having enough of it is losing a ton of mood- which you have to then fix because sammy won't work, exercise, or study if her moods bad. This means either spending limited time being unproductive or wasting significant amounts of funds drinking. And it happens constantly. I don't think I've gone a single day in school without sammy getting bullied- sometimes two or three times in that single day. Maybe instead of being called a "bully", "stalker" would be more appropriate. Just him being around makes grinding out knowledge through independant study completely not worth it.

You basically *need* a decent amount of confidence, but the stuff is harder to build than a sandcastle with dry sand.

Sams already said that RNG shops aren't going to stay- and I will admit, they are rather annoying. As for grinding cash- scaving basically exist for those not willing to whore, basically. It's much more time and money efficient to work at the bar. Maybe if we could find stuff actually useful in our day to day I'd find it more worthwhile, but as is it's basically just something to do when you need to kill in game time because X isn't open yet.

To me this means the dev doesn't have a clue why he came up with so many stats and what they're supposed to do. This is the very base of the game's mechanics and there was plenty of time to design a stable and playable stat system on which to build the narrative around, so you don't have to resort to using game-in cheats to stay in control and the dev does not need to update the game by removing the mall or not introducing rent payments.

Why not simplify stuff if you can't work out sustainable relations between time, activity, tiredness, mood, confidence, fitness and intelligence? Or perhaps, the very idea of Sammy the Fixer's adventures is failure, misery, despair, substance abuse and multiple unplanned pregnancies? In which case, sorry not my snifter of brandy.

Pretty much every indi-dev on this site or patreon are figuring things out as they go along. It's not that surprising.

Anyway- you don't *need* to cheat. But it does make things take a lot longer when you're basically spending a third to half of your non-school time being unproductive to raise mood because your stalker can't find someone else to bother.

It's annoying and unfun to deal with- so I cheat to avoid having to deal with the confidence mechanic. Never really felt the need to cheat for anything else- although I wish education factored in more often. body, you use semi-regularly because assaults aren't that rare. But how often do you get a *smarts* option?

Don't know about you, but I don't play a porn game to go through a pointless clickfest just to raise a random stat in a random manner. In this particular game, the MC receives a new body that heals quickly, can change its skin/hair color, can even adjust its breast size and yet it somehow isn't able to retain muscle tissue more than a day? It's so stupid, not even funny.

I wouldn't qualify this as a "click fest". There are actual click spam games out there.

And besides the shops, it's not particularly random either.

There are plenty of porn games that offer instant gratification. This is more on the simulationist side of such games though. It's far from unique, and most are actually slower paced.

It LITERALLY is a clickfest and the only "game" in it is to keep doing the same thing over and over to raise a particular stat randomly or to gain money or some other stuff, in other words GRIND, and you literally admitted that yourself in your previous message while talking about raising fitness. Imagine starting a game with a character with ZERO intelligence and you have to take her to school every single day just to make her more intelligent. Literally a retarded clickfest. And you clearly have no idea what "simulation" is. By the way, the fact that are worse games out there in terms of grind, isn't really an excuse.

So, because I don't see eye to eye with you, you decide to start with insults?

If I wanted to insult you you'd know. If you were offended by my remark about simulation, which wasn't an insult by the way, all I'm gonna say is that calling this so called game a simulation is the real insult to anyone with a slightly above average intelligence.

You talk as if fifteen minutes of your time is a horrible imposition.

Well, since you clearly hate this game- why are you still wasting your time here? Surely, if a small grind is just intolerable to you, then spending even more of your limited time on this earth fuming about it on the forums is a serious waste that could be better spent doing anything else?

So, if you're being honest with yourself, you *need* to cheat so you can enjoy playing this game. Which is a failure on the dev's part.

While games can be difficult and, in case of porn games, can even deal with topics unpalatable to some, they should nevertheless be fun to play. So far, there is very little fun in taking a bus full of pervs to school day in day out, so you can learn something while occasionally getting punched in the belly by an *insert a school bully trope here*. Plus preparing for secret missions, which so far have nothing to do with your school life, not to mention collecting garbage whenever you have time to kill and haven't yet talked with Nate long enough to bring the idea of a gloryhole into fruition. Unless I've missed something and the school's principal is the prime suspect in the overarching investigation of corruption within the municipal waste management department.

What is the reason behind a spec op being yet another powerless, gullible JK girl, other than to fulfil 'barely legal' fantasies?

Yes. No need to put "being honest with myself". I posted plainly that I cheat to avoid the confidence mechanic.

I'd probably be mad about it if I had spent money on it, but I've never put a dime in patreon anything in my entire life, and don't intend to ever change that.

As is, it's more of a mild irritant.

And yes, this game is developing at a glacial pace. But again, not spending a dime on it, so I see no need to lose my cool about it.
