Think someone asked but if you can't find your save files for the game then it's because they are hidden. So just unhide them in the control panel (for windows).

In NLT version, saves are not inside the game. Find me the location of the saves, ill give you the save.

Mansion dining room - there's a hidden passage below the chair at the head of the table.

rainwake - You should add to your instructions that once you're in the portal room after the Evie scene, you need to talk to Arianna. That seems to be the trigger for the 'end of update' message from Arianna.
