First pause any firewall/antivirous you may have and try again, if that doesn't work right click -> run as administrator. If even that doesn't work wait for the update to be posted.

I believe yes, you just have to overwrite the corresponding folder. And yes the updater won't work.

No I haven't. I am not a good wine user, and don't have so many good experiences with it. I prefer to let Lutris handle all the wine versions for me. I don't think it is an option in this case.
