Japanese game devs: *gets driven over by a car 2 times in a row and having a working related accident in the same day, depression, with several mental health problems that come with it and for some reason their left leg feels numb for over 2 years now while his wife and two kids left him for pretty much no reason but him being overworked*: "Please excuse my 2 day delay of my game. To ensure you guys enjoyment of the game. We will keep releasing and reiterating the game post release, with several dozens new scenes a few months after release. We will also release a "super duper special edition" of our project next year with even more ANIMATED scenes, while showing off our next project. Please look forward to it."
- The developer delivers even more than they promised. They earned approx 800k yen of the game in total, which is less than 7.700 USD.
English game dev *bonks little toe on the doorframe, which hurts for at least 16 hours*: "WAAAAAHHHHHH MY LIFE IS IN SHAMBLES, PLEASE PAY ME MORE CASH SO I CAN RELEASE ONE LAST VERSION OF MY GAME. IF WE EARN AT LEAST 100.000 USD IN CASH A MONTH WE WILL BE ABLE TO RELEASE ANOTHER VERSION OF THE GAME THAT IS LITERALLY ONE EXTRA SCENE WE DITCHED A YEAR AGO AND A BLANK SCREEN WITH WHITE TEXT TO THANK ALL OF YOU MOTHERFUCKERS."
- The dev delivers, but the thank you screen has typos in it. They earned around 1.200.000 USD in total.
Truth be told, this game was garbage and the only selling point were the stolen models. The writing was shit and really all over the place and the story wasn't what kept people invested and longed for more. Heritage has a similar problem, but the good thing about that game is that the plot is more condensed and fleshed out, which at least keeps me invested. The only thing that mattered here were new sex scenes. Just when the developer got his shit together to have some better writing, they ditch the game. Hopefully this game stays dead and that some other else sees this as a warning on how not to write their game to the ground.
