i am a bit confused i got the fire from the rat man and walk up to the guy and it just loads up the battle then ends it in 2s and nothing happens no matter what are we still not meant to go past this point?
It's a bug based off the choice you make in the intro scene. Game should work fine if you choose to change into hero outfit instead of fighting them in your casual clothes.

It's not that. It is propably that either he is using a previous save or he must update his rpgmz version. The fight bug seems to be because of diffrent versions.

I think that you are correct. I had the PC fight the thugs in street clothes and the battles worked fine. I was using a new save on a new game.

I have lost track of what I have added. But at the next update I'm gonna add some of kind of a small animation. Like this
Odd, Ive got the new 4.1 version and i had the fight bug if i started new game and choose to fight in normal clothes but didnt if i swapped to hero clothes for intro scene.

At the first fight when u had the bug, did you win or lost...? And if you lost, who did you lost? This will help me locate the bug if there is one there...
many people had the fight bug. here is how to reproduce:
fight initial thugs in normal clothes and lose by getting undressed and groped/molested. that bugs a lot of the game even though it's the best route.
i don't remember if you lose by actual hp if the bug still remains but i think it does as well.
after that bug many things work differently, for example you cannot progress through the first mission where you have to burn the enemy in the sewers.

Any chance we can have a changelog on the first post of this thread? Would be extremely helpful to see for people if they want to download the new update or wait for next update and also just to know what to focus on testing with the new update without having to try to find the changelog in the thread

I go everywhere after combat arena and medical hero exam, and there is nothing new in this version, except that you can use body scan. I give you an advise : don't waste your time.

This game NEEDS a walkthrough to play, which kinda sucks. Love the remake, the renders look pretty good, the dialogue may not be as good as the original game but its legible. My only real gripe with this game is the fact that most of the game, you don't know what you're doing. Most of the game, i just spent time scanning across the whole map, looking for events, but couldn't find any. I just finished the hero license event, as well as the fighting arena event, anyway to progress after that?
