First of all sorry for the silence recently. Development is basically paused for the rest of spring and summer. It's really fucking hard to sit and work in front of the PC when it's nice outside. Kids, yardwork and getting much needed sunshine has basically killed any indoor time I have had recently. My PC is still gorked and I haven't even needed to figure out what the issue is (I am thinking CPU).
So PAYMENTS ARE PAUSED for the spring and summer unless I actually get a chapter released.
This is a side hobby for me and I will never take advantage of those of you who support me. I will only unpause payments when real progress is made. For those of you newer here, you can look back and see what I mean by the amount of times I paused payments for you.
We also adopted an old girl so, yeah, she has taken time away. I look forward to her sitting next to me at the pc when it's cold and raining and I'm able to focus on getting this story of mine told.

Summer update from Patreon.
I really hope you are enjoying the summer (or winter for southern hemisphere folk).
It's funny, when I come back to the game after a break I'm amazed that this is something I have actually created (with some help of course!). It's by no means perfect but I see why the story connects with people. It's not a fantastical story in any way. Jo and Mitch could be totally real people exploring within their marriage and as I have said previously, lots is based on real life experiences.
Oncs school starts up and the weather declines I'll be back to work. Again, I'm sorry about the slowness of it but I work full time, a dad of 3 teens and have 2 partners. I mean fuck, I started Baldurs Gate 3 on release and I'm only a couple hours in. Though on the Switch I was able to play the EXCELLENT Super Mario Wonder and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, because I'm old and like platformers they REALLY scratched that itch.
I wonder if I can finish before Star Citizen releases.....
Anyways, payments are paused again for September 1st. Those who have joined recently during the summer hiatus, thank you so much. For those who have downgraded their tiers, hey, I understand, I do the same thing also as finances permits, I still appreciate you!

Just a quick check in, chapter 4 is about 400 lines of dialog in that I have managed to get done at work, today is reinstalling all the needed software on my desktop as we did a full wipe in the summer when we replaced a faulty CPU. Rainy days make for development days! Look for more updates in the next few weeks though I am not sure about timing on Chapter 4 release. I am done with timeframes, it only disappoints us all!
I love your project, and good luck. A good game later is better than a faulty one sooner, so I'm always of the opinion of working on it until its right.
