Just so you know, a number of years ago a number of critical comments were sent the developer's way in the Naomi's Past forum and he decided to stop visiting this website entirely. To get a comment directly to him you would need to correspond through his website or SubscribeStar or other service.
I believe this problem came when he updated and resized all the maps in his game, so Kaya keeps getting stuck in random spots. He released something like 8 patches but I believe they were release to supporters only unless the more recent were leaked here. I'm certain he'll correct it in the next update, but that's not slated for release till January of 2025 and knowing how circumstances tend to delay him, I'd say summer of 2025.
