Boy oh boy it already bothered me so much seeing a crapton of these "games" that used 3d models from <insert 3d h-game name here> to make "art"
I knew it was impossible to not have AI start to be the next best thing to have "art" for this but.. fuck me..

I sometimes try to make some AI art and see how far things have come if it is actually "good enough" by now and it doesn't have obvious things that never will be able to replace actual art, but if people now use it to make money and "games"?
This actually makes it perfectly understandable why so many artists get pissed off by AI art.

Unlike most in this forum (at least it seems to me) I embrace AI art, we still have lots to improve but it's visible how much better they are getting, these images are beautiful and I wish nothing but the best for you dev.

I can't wait for the day we can have MASSIVE and FAST releases due to art not being the bottleneck it is today.

Embrace the future guys, don't fight it.

People don't realize this, but AI art should be a way as a tool to create more avenues of video game content. Artists may cry foul here, but let's not forget that comic books were seen as a propaganda tool of satan, that the media and Jack Thompson portrayed video games were seen to have such a persuasive influence on one's mind that it single-handedly cause them to do school shootings.

And these artist puritans basically invokes the "Ludd was right" from tvtropes, even though the art tablets and made-in-china paintbrush could not have been possible as soon and cheaply without industrialization.

Hey folks, this is going to be a bit of a long read, so bear with me.
I’ve made the tough choice to stop working on the game “The Insatiable Mortal”. I’m graduating in April, so I need to get ready for job interviews (for real this time) to make sure I can pay my bills.
Another problem is that the AI art style I’m using is limiting my creativity It’s really hard to make the visuals I want that fit the scene, which I'm sure you've noticed. So, I’m going to learn how to do 3D rendering like you see in most games, or maybe change the AI art style. But it doesn’t make sense to keep changing things in this game all the time.
So, for the next 4 months or until I find a stable job, I’m going to use my free time to learn Daz, which is a tool for creating 3D images, and keep an eye on any progress in the "AI Image Generation" world.
I’ve got an idea for a new game that would be set in the same world as “The Insatiable Mortal”, about 20 years later. You will see some familiar characters like Elara, Seraphina, MC and Valeria. I’m really excited about it, but I don’t want to get your hopes up.
I really love writing fantasy stories and making good visuals. And I’ve spent majority of my time in these chapters for the past few months. I know this is what I’m meant to do. (Yes finally, my purpose ). But I need to be realistic for the next few months.
