Then we disagree, which is fine.Excuses... he teleported them both in there, he could've teleported them out of there when he saw Ifuma's brain go jell-o, and then suck all his qi, even if he didn't want to "kill" him (which that fall probably would've, and he already killed the other old dude anyways... and an entende depending on your choices).
Sorry, but that was just bad writing... that was horror movie dumbfuckery levels of bad writing. Teleporting him to the urentende was brilliant... then he just went stupid... like wtf...
The MC is not a murderous psychopath and he still holds on to some of the morality of the old world, so yeah - bringing Ifuma back to his place and bashing his head in with the frying pan after the UrEntende mind melt did not occur to him....
He did not lure Ifuma to his sanctuary, Selene rushed to tell him about Ifuma's invasion of his sanctuary, and he went in and defended the two women that Ifuma was attacking - an instinctive reaction that Is in his character.
He did not even think to use his sanctuary status to his benefit until he attacked Ifuma physically and Ifuma knocked him down.
I see the MC as someone who is fighting to keep his sanity and purpose in mind, all while having nightmares about the first visit to the UrEntende and trying to find a way to help different women he has feelings for say goodbye to The Interim Domain.
He knew how badly his first visit to the UrEntende messed with his mind and he had to take the chance that it would do the same with Ifuma even If it messed with the MC's mind as well.
Do we know how badly the second visit to the UrEntende impacts the MC - No, since the rev effectively ended on this note.
Now, you can assume that the MC is an idiot and that this is bad writing without knowing what happens to him next.
I'm not making that assumption.
In the end, we just view the MC and the story differently - not too unusual since people have viewed stories from different perspectives since there Were stories...
Cheers!!
