Hmm... I did have giving a shot at TLing the sequel in mind. The logistics are somewhat thorny since:was the fan translator of isle of ts monster girls also going to translate this game? a friend and i were going to give translating the demo and eventually the full version a shot but i wanted to double check to not step on anyone's toes
1) I currently have a backlog of various Translators Unite doujins that I've been, erhm, sitting on for a hot minute...
2) I'm really big on 'slow-and-steady' in writing to the quality I have in mind, regardless of how long that takes (Isle of TS Monster Girls took me a year-and-a-half, though this was also a busy time for me irl as opposed to lately).
3) When I translate, I prefer synthesizing stories from the ground-up. This involves little-to-no MTL & me playing through the whole game just for fun, internalizing the characters, grasping as many subtleties as I can (irony, foreshadowing), which can take quite a few revisions. (Though this might simplify since you'd be tackling it as a pair).
One of the big reasons I took up Isle of TS Monster Girls was me thinking, "Dang, this is a game that's getting no attention but really really deserves it," and the series has kind of grown on me. Would you guys be open to collaborating? We can talk in PMs to figure out the details in this case.
If you guys would rather just do it as a pair, I wouldn't mind toe-stepping if it means people get to enjoy the game. If you and your friend are eager then I support just going for it. I'll probably be doing my own thing in the meanwhile, which might include a fan translation, but don't think I'd feel remiss if you guys/someone came out with a nice TL in that intervening time.
