Nikke would be nice. I’m always bias to imapct 3rd rather then its more popular young siblings but we’ve gotten some.

TBH for me, as a person who didnt know azur lane was a game in the first place, i was ok. I kinda have a line drawn between porn and entertainment.
I dont think i can watch characters where i play the game (eg. genshin, starrail, pokemon). Ever since i started playing blue archive, the content with BA characters became less appealing to me, so azur lane remains strong. Back to ur point, yeaaaa would be nice if creators touch those, but we gotta undst whether its in their interest to prepare those underdog characters (be it for money or self interest). For all we know, it could really be a coincidence that the creators dont fancy the underdog franchises, so they just dont make it xd
I forgot whos the recent creator that wanted to stop their patreon and make things publicly available, but still open to receiving coffee money iirc.

I was gonna say there wasn’t a lot than I typed it in azur Lane in the search bar of joidatabase and you are right there is a lot but I think them doing popular series is just easier Yk most popular series will sparkle connect to characters more easily than underrated ones
Art must be driving the video making process. Azur Lane is both popular and has been out a while, so there’s a deep well to pull from. Can’t speak for anyone else, but stuff I tried to make for April Fools troll videos fall flat because I have virtually no images to work with, AI generation not withstanding.
The other gachas that come to mind in terms of video volume is Fate and Genshin. Fate is more like AL, but Genshin just blew up rapidly.
I can just be me though and accuse everyone of being clout chasing grifters and pin that as the reason why we don’t get that many franchise representation.

There are several reasons for this. 1) Authors may not know about other series because they simply don't play gacha games. 2) Unpopular series have too little content, so it's impossible to make a normal video out of it.

so real, dividing my time between both of them is surprisingly challenging, and I'm always worried one will get jealous of the other so I try to dedicate equal attention to both, its easier when schedules line up and we can all spend time together as three but otherwise its kind of nightmarish. I'm new to this kind of thing so maybe I will get used to it. I dunno.

Point 2 there almost makes me wish AI art was decent so that more niche characters could show up but I know that it's a bad idea and not gonna happen anyway.
If more art existed of other characters I was interested in I'd be more willing to actually try to get in on supporting people, but as it stands I won't and the ones I'd want to are already releasing their videos publicly after a bit so I just wait and leach off of whatever gets posted here.

Hmm, I don't play gacha games either I just found those using a quick Google search for gacha games. Out of the games I mentioned you should definitely be able to make a video with arknight, girls frontline and Kantai collection just looking at danbooru. Taimanin too if you count all their game cg. Maybe not 2 hours but something at least. Nikke is too new I'll admit, maybe Anis and Rapi but that's it.
I was mostly annoyed because yet another creator is doing a long ass azure lane vid with voice acting and so I just wanted something different. For some reason when I heard of a collab I thought you all would do different games with maybe some crossover voice acting. Don't know why I thought that though.
