and like i said , the game is not bad - maybe take it slow , delay updates and look if you get anything,
supporters may come with quality content
but holding will get you nothing ...

Wanted to try my hand at a more serious game, had no spare time and financially the Joob wasn't doing very well so....
And begging for support for a game that's on hold? Uh, why bother? What would be the point?

Just... calling it like it is. No hard feelings either way.

Glad you guys had fun playing it. Will most likely bring it back in a re-vamped format with hotter chicks. When I have the time to work on it. Not remastered, but rather overhauled.

And now reading all these comments I'm having second thoughts about pausing the Joob for the foreseeable future.

What I really need is... A good kick in the ass?
Uh, no. But I could use some honest opinions. So here's what I'm going to do.

I'm going to leak the final beta of the new game I've been working on.
Give it a whirl.

THEN let me know if you think I should continue working on the new game OR
resume the Joob Joob. Overhauled and remastered, with new girls, new locations and updated to 2022 standards.

game looks good , writing is flawless , animations are good (as far as i seen now)
quite intriguing story

the girls looking good (the girls - not maddy )

the textbox could be changed to something more "clear" and size reduced (imo)


its hard to decide which game i would prefer ....
(maybe make a crossover -update to make people curious about both games?
something like about a investigation maddy has come across - and joob joob a card/book or other hint )

I have an admitted prejudice towards religion in general. Even discounting that though I think I would still prefer Joob-Joob. I like the setting better in Joob-Joob. I also enjoyed the discovering of the old films in Joob-Joob aspect. I'd definitely check out A Father's Sins though too just to see where you take it from there. I kinda feel like it is tough to compare them in this current state though admittedly due to amount of content.

To compare them fairly, you would have to take the first release of the Joob and compare it to the first chapter of Sins.

Whichever one you want to do, love The Joob-Joob, but the story in the other one already has me intrigued! I have nothing but time!

You should do whichever one you're most interested in right now. You've given your reasons for pausing Joob and working on Sins. Those reasons are valid. As for my opinion, it's hard to give you feedback because I would have to envision a revamped Joob which is already at v2.1 with the 1st chapter of Sins. So far I like both of them but I think the new one interests me more right now.

Hmm I kinda prefer joob but the story is definitely more involved in sins..... perhaps combine the two ideas?? Redo joob with a plot hook and give it a bit more story. You could, perhaps, even segue sins into a renewed joob joob as sort of a prologue
