No, you're right - this isn't a developer making art themselves. They're using the koikatsu engine, which anyone can do, and overlaying a shit game on top. It's lazy and boring.
The koikatsu engine is used like a tool nowadays and makes it possible for either untalented game developers or game developers who have a knack for porn game writing and development(just like no try studios) to make their vision come true, and koikatsu also makes it easier to add animations, but with a learning curve, and that’s good because there’s barely any animations in porn games nowadays.. it makes better fappable material in porn games. So no, the koikatsu model style ain’t boring to look at for most people, nor is it a shit game seeing as how good the game is.

Hey really fun game!
Just wanna ask if this will be a linear story or will you plan to make multiple endings

Edit:Nvm I saw a post talking about having multiple endings.

A tale of NTR full of seduction, forbidden relationships, and (surprisingly) a happy end!
The mention of a happy end really intrigues me, like is it an everybody happy end or a most people are happy but someone must suffer end?

Cuz this is the two end I'm thinking of and with some other ntr games I played, a happy end(avoidable ntr excluded) is more or less the cuck leaves the girl and finds a new girl who loves him and live happily.
(until the story continues and the new girls also gets stolen heHeHehEHEHEHE- I'm a degen aren't I)

Man the Mary sex scene was so amazing and fulfilling. Had the same thoughts as Kendo, "Finally, finally, finally" lmao. Idk how another scene can top that one off, it's always the first scene and acquiring that pussy that's the best imo. Especially with this one, the long wait was worth it fr.

really well written game, the dev seems to also understand that porn games are all about angles.

>writing and "development"

Literally the part that is skipped over most. Good art can save a game, lazy slapping together assets from an already made game is pointless. Writing helps, but it doesn't make the game worth playing. Literally anyone can just fire up koikatsu and pop in models whenever they want, and have a hundred times more content than these games for no effort.

Koikatsu is an already existing game. You're not producing anything by slapping together some koikatsu animations, you're ripping off that dev's work and the card maker's, unless you're using custom cards (which are super easy to make anyways, making specific characters is harder). These koikatsu using games are literally asset flips. Half-decent original art is miles better than talentless, soulless asset flipping. Frankly, the part of these games that takes the longest is the art to begin with, so the super fucking lazy .00001 plus a patreon link demos that have gotten spammed recently using koikatsu have zero excuse.

You only get a pass for these shit tactics if you're actually doing something that takes effort, not asset flipping. And no, developing in RPGM doesn't count. There are games that go above and beyond, and do interesting things with the engine - most don't.

Hey, what makes a game worth playing to you doesn’t translate in the general sense.

Anyone can have hundred times more content? That’s not how game development works, it takes time to come up with the code that it takes to make the content on renpy, writing every single line of code takes time and getting verse in how to make the game pop unlike the static looking games out there that look so bland takes time as well(no try studios makes the game pop btw), and also writing good dialogue is essential, so you’re ignorant in that subject and underestimate how long it takes.

And not all koikatsu animations are premade with the game included, most of them are custom made thanks to an animation tool that koikatsu provides, so it does take effort.

So continue to cry about it while this game gets more and more content, and more patreons.

Squeal with the illusion that squealing does anything.

Writing and art... Kinda two sides of the same creative coin in the genre. Perhaps you should stick to pictures or picture books my man... Might make ya happier.
