By the way, I did not like the staging of sex scenes in the game. They are made like some kind of game where you have to do something else and not just watch and have fun. For the love of god not every female character is a love interest some are just there for minor story lines, and you can chose to fuck them or don't, or share them or fuck them solo or don't even fuck them at all, it's up to you.


Which part of "your choice" you don't understand? All this MMF, FFM, FM content I mentioned is with ONE female character in the update I'm currently working on, and YOU decide what you end up doing with her, not me I put the content in there and It's up to you through choices and conversations to decide what will you see, you don't like MMF fine chose the FFM path in the conversation, you don't like FFM content that is fine too, chose the FM path, you don't like the chick, FINE blow her off and skip the content with her entirely I made a path for that too.


I don't know if I'm speaking chinese here or what's with some of the confusion YES at one point here will be harem in this game but again a different fucking path entirely that YOU chose IF YOU WANT through conversation. And where the hell do you get the idea that in the harem path there will be sharing when it's called a HAREM path???

Thats why I asked if its with a main girl, you don't pick Harem and Romance, two tags that require ultimate devotion and then spring sharing, swinging and the like on their routes, unless you plan to give that character a split personality based on one singular choice, at that point its a fuckfest game where the characters personalities and the romance storyline mean absolutely nothing. Optional, or not doesn't matter, a LI can't be a devoted girlfriend and a slut to be passed around based on one mouse click, its not a complicated narrative design to understand.

Can hide behind the 'its optional' technicality all you want, the truth is you cannot pick two diametrically opposed situations and have them both be in line with preestablished character personality, or character progression. What if you had one choice where the character murders someone, would you still use that excuse? No, you would have to explain how that character that was following the 'romance' route has now reached the point where she is capable of murdering someone, same way you would have to explain how she got tot the point where she doesn't mind being passed around.

I don't know why its so hard for devs to understand that some tags do not mix if you want your game to be taken seriously, if you are just throwing random porn scenarios you think are hot and the characters progression do not matter then fine, but again I don't see that in the plan tags.

Narrative design talks aside, if she is a random hoe, good. But post it in OP so people don't get surprises, preferably without the mental gymnastics of why they should be ok with it.

I was a bit rude with my reply I could have handled it better, I was drunk and got frustrated since I get dozens of Dm's on twitter and Reddit by people worse than him, and there's no point even arguing with people like that, their problem is that the thing that they don't like is in the game in the first place, regardless that it's optional or not that doesn't matter to them.

you will drive yourself mad you humor everyone. some people are just best to ignore. this is a great place to promote your game to get it seen. also, modders help out create cheats for it or change languages for free. what you also get is people demanding every little thing from you for free. and complaining you're not moving fast enough. or something is in it that they don't approve of. you will learn on who to ignore and who to reply to.

This is a great site a lot of people here are giving great advice and when I see people commenting and leaving a reviews how much they enjoyed my game, it motivates me to keep going and making the game as best as I can.

I come here often to answer comments and dm's but I wont post screenshots of new updates etc here, I need to get as much eyes on my game as possible. X and reddit are the best platforms I can post the images on, and where people can easily share there and help me get new subscribers.

I strategically post on these platforms to reach new people, by strategically I mean usually dead tired or drunk in the middle of the night randomly whenever I remember to post. Half the time I don't even know what the fuck I post where lol

On a bit serious note, my Pc hasn't been turned off since late January when I started working on the game again, and it has been rendering 12-14 hours every day, and when its not rendering I'm making scenes animations with it. And if something breaks in it I can't afford to replace it because all the money I put aside (which wasn't much) got spent on rebuilding the fire damage to my house. So I need all the support I can get.

Before you release Update 2, you gotta find a way to set your Patreon back up. I honestly don't think there's 2 ways about it. For $ to roll in, you need patreons.
Subscribestar has far fewer people in the platform compare to patreon, by a lot.

Your game deserves all the success in the world cuz you're really talented. Your Chapter 1 is one of the top Chapter 1 i've ever played.

There is a game here called Friends In Need where it has 2 version. The one that comply to Patreon, the Vanilla version is called Friends Indeed.

The difference between those 2 games are Friends Indeed take out some options that Patreon doesn't allowed. The Main storyline are largely the same, just the character dynamics would obviously be different.

You might want to look whether it's a viable option for you or not.

For me personally, on my first playthrough I didn't even view the "blackmail" option. I still haven't until now.
By that I mean my experience of playing your Chapter 1 game blindly wouldn't have changed even if those paths aren't available in the Patreon version.
I enjoyed your game greatly for the bus station interactions and then continued in the bus and not having a "dark" or "taboo" paths wouldn't diminish my experience at all tbqh with you (both for Friends Indeed and your game's Chapter 1)

Thank you! Funny thing is that I do have 2 different versions, and the censored one was on Patreon, and it didn't matter. Unfortunately I can't get back on Patreon, especially with the new guidelines the incest and the blackmail parts are not the only problem here. I can't get into details because of spoilers but there is a lot more stuff coming that will be against their shitty guidelines, and these aren't even sexual stuff. You'll understand in a few updates.

I already have written 3 chapters and any day now I will begin with the 4th one, and think of these chapters like a full episode or a season as other games call it. The branching paths are only a problem because I don't have a proper PC yet and it can't keep up with me, I make scenes and animations relatively fast.

one thing he said that i'm curious is,

the update will come when it’s ready. The update is about 80% done at this point.

i kinda wonder what kind of "80%" are we looking at here.

Cuz for most devs i pay attention to, that last 10% of the development takes roughly 30% of the time, give or take.
Of course to some rare devs, that last 10% is actually the last 10%.

I'm really not sure whether we're looking at a July release date here (if the 20% is linear, excluding playtesting) or we're looking at another 4 months at least on the top of 4 months he's been working on the game.

he also said on the post,

Starting from now I’m not going to set any more release dates ever for updates up until I finish the update. All this does is put pressure on me and stresses me out and I end up rushing things and ultimately fucking up.
