the story might be interresting , the renders are good -
but
the writing ....
so much errors , grammars ,sloppy writing (or translation errors) ...
sentences end atleast with a . ! or ?
i´ll wait for a proofread/updated version before playing again

"Chapter 1 Fix" is the proofread version, this is actually way better than what it was before.

I was interested in the story and the short girl, but as for a lot of you the game was lagging hard so I took a looksie at the script.
Reason for the lag is the use of
So I made somewhat a memory usage patch for PC version (use with ch.1 2022-03-11 only!)
Unzip the file and put it in the folder
I hope it works and helps some of you since this is the first time I publish a workaround I made for myself.
Caution: Saves made while using my fix are probably incompatible to the next release, please keep that in mind!

I have to say, The Last King is poorly optimized, has no logic an image display consume Ram memory at stellar levels like this has been doing, I do not know what the developer did, but the high consumption of ram is unjustified and due to this high consumption, crashes happen. (I play online games "heavy" and they never forced me to turn off the laptop by force, this succeeded, reached 100% ram memory usage, 4GB of ram just to load in a save, this does not make sense)
