Is this game's sex scenes still text based or did Sierra manage to find an artist that he could afford? He did say he was looking but I haven't heard about it in a while.
Not entirely sure, but maybe the posts at the top of the page could give you an indicator...

She has got an artist but it's going to be a while until she implements it.

Scenes are still text based.

I wouldn't say awhile actually. She's been posting a lot of them on Patreon, and chapter 1 will probably be done by January.

Just a tiny bit of info... yesterday (November 22nd) was 5th anniversary of TLS.
does this game have any sex scenes or will they be more into the future
At last count there is between 150 and 200 sex scenes in the game... with about 1-4 being added with each update.

Yup, she had been posting some of it on Patreon for months now and I have a mixed feeling about it. Problem I have is with the faces which look kind of wierd in at least half of the images... at first I thought it's because I'm used to character faces from the game, but now after seeing some more of artists work (unrelated to TLS) I'm no longer sure that's the case.

I wish someone would post some of these pics here so we can all get a good look at what to expect.

I believe she's keeping the option to leave the scenes as text only too so if the artwork isn't what some like it should still be possible to switch back over to text.

If i'm honest I really enjoy the text scenes, they are really well done. I'll give the art a chance but after years of playing with just text i'm not sure if i'll find having art to be a bit weird.

Yeah, I think that was a request many made... to keep CG's optional.

There's a number of references to Wendis having large, desirable breasts and hope the dev's pic does her justice! :p

for some reason my z keys aren't working. i used f1 to check key bindings but they were the same so i dont know what the problem is.
Have you tried with y key instead? Some non-english keyboards have z and y keys reversed. Not sure what else could be a problem...

he follows you out of the embassy. And now for the tricky part. First, save. If you have been able to reduce the price to 200,000, reload your most recent save as you can get it for even less. Spend enough ProN to have between 100,000 and 200,000 on hand. And voilà, you can purchase Deeds of Vinario for 100,000 ProN. Congratulations on a well done negotiation!

well it only going down to 300,000 i got 265,000

you need to ask about the price and then leave, if yara is on 100 she will bargain the price down

the reduction to 100K is conditional to reach the 200K offer and don't having 200K in chash (but 100K or more). if he offer you 300K you aren't eligible. this mean you choose a "wrong" option or megail rp are not 50+ or yarra rp 90+. you know if you reach the threshold for megail the guy reply "Okay, I will! Just stop yelling!" (otherwise he say "Fine, fine...") and for yarra she prompt the illusion thing (otherwise she stay silent)

Read this page, and the previous page...
I notice a pattern: People who don't like to read clamor for CGs. :sneaky:
The combat is getting very tedious.
Is it safe to use a save game editor to make my party one shot the fights.
Safest is to use the story mode mod linked on the
While I would say it balances out more later on, in terms of Simon being more exclusively a leader and delegating command to his specialists in their respective fields, early on he kind of knows a bit too much about everything. I think it was just a necessary plot device until all the talented women were added to his list of allies, Megail and Sarai only properly join his side by the end of chapter 1, but we need economical and theological context before that happens so Simon just happened to "pick up" those things while being a soldier and then being a single father.

One could argue he learned about those things when he was in his "find a way of defeating the Incubus King" world trip but it is still a bit iffy, why would an atheist look into theology for a source of real power? Also I don't feel he stopped being the top dog in the political aspect until Iris joined the harem, I don't remember Janine showing that much political expertise outside of what she does following Simon's plans, at least until chapter 4 anyway.
Simon's economics are strictly small-time while he is trying to sell a wagon of booze. He knows some economics and politics because he's spent 30 years trying to get allies against the Incubus King (and failing, but still). Megail starts handling economics pretty early. The game doesn't do a good job of showing you Janine's actions but she's not sitting in her bedroom eating sweets all day. And he knows theology partly because he's been involved with the Church for 40 years being friends with people like Sarai and Kara, partly because his late wife was a divine mage, partly because the Church (including but not limited to the Chosen) does have real power worth investigating and using even if he's not sure about the theology being correct.

Simon still impressed Megail enough with his understanding of economics for her to eventually give him a chance as a business partner, considering how blunt Megail is that wasn't exactly a small feat.

The game mentions a lot of stuff Janine does, but most of it is boots on the ground kind of stuff, she's a great public figure but the game doesn't show her being much of a mastermind, at least early on. She comes across to me as lacking initiative and the extent of her intrigue seems to be that she knew to keep the army loyal to avoid a definitive coup. I'm probably underselling her a bit, after all she was one of the people involved in creating the Doomed King plan and she gets better eventually, but I still hold the impression that Simon knew how to deal with Yhilini politics better than she did.

Simon hadn't seen Sarai in a long time before the start of the game, Wendis was a divine mage but she was very focused on the theory, so much that, being an atheist like Simon, her belief was that divine magic did not come from a higher power but was just as much of a natural part of the world as arcane and lust magic, Kara was surprised about Simon's theological knowledge at the start of the game, implying she did not talk about such things with Simon before. He having some knowledge is only natural, but considering his personal beliefs and the fact he stuck with the Chosen for so long as his best chance of defeating the Incubus King, you'd think he would have dismissed theology earlier and so he knows more about it than you'd expect.

And all of this while taking some years to raise a young daughter, and wasting a lot of years being, quite literally, stuck in a rut with the Chosen stuff. Nothing about Simon is, individually, impossible. But the combination of all of those things is nothing short of impressive. Drawing from my previous Ozymandias comparison, here's an excerpt from said character:
