Is there an end in sight yet for this game? I played it over a year ago (maybe 2 by now). It took me a really long time to complete what was there (in a good way) and I planned to come back when it was done and play through the entire thing again. Judging by the version number there's been 10 major updates (I played v0.55.4), and if it's still going to be a while to the end I might do another playthrough soon. Has the dev said anything about plans for an ending?

Nobody knows for sure, but SL has said that they will play a role in the final dungeon.

There's a fairly hard check in an event that benefits you a lot if you get 4 before doing it (Incubus War). i.e. go get the pin from the 5mil dungeon (& glove, but that doesn't count) before doing the IW content. Since I just did this on a replay - you get +2 for 4 items held, which is kinda a make/break part of that slice of the number crunching if you want to max as much as you can (in that if you only get +1 for 3, you have to sacrifice something else). In the long run, it allows you to max 3 sections + have 10 Ivala Rush in the final outcome while getting all the shining swords *and* not ruining Ziranth too much ('cause... hate to say it, but they're the discard in the IW balance equation).

And yeah, I've not worked out how to max all sections of the IW, but I can confidently get 3/4 + Ivala Rush max (which is the important bit).

The real kink of this game is for Excel spreadsheets.

Tanurak strikes are a major RP score modifier in the IW for a load of Goddesses, and minimizing them allows a >-4 Nyst score (for reasons -and Qum's Tak 6+ score on my notes, but no idea why -- ah, means you can get her 6 without using other options up, meaning you can use Sabitha in Inv Push for a +3). You need 4 to max out IW bonuses. You can hit Tower max otherwise, it's the strikes that bleed you out over the long game.

Just played through this for a 3/4 IW / 10 IvRush score so still looking at huge numbers of variables that allowed me to do it. Fairly sure you can only ever do a 4/4 (Zir 12+) if you sacrifice the Elf bridge for the large RP hits (Mother / country scores) and then have to re-tool the entire run backwards to change both Tak ground support and Ardon supports.

On a basic level: Zir not getting maxed happens both in the Synod and the IW and it's the least worst choice to sacrifice each time. If you sacrifice the maximum level for it each time, taking the 2/3 tiers, it allows you to max all other options for other factions (in Gown council, this snowballs into IW Tak / etc), you can max everything else if played 100%. The hit is like some pr0n extra costs - the crux is if you can keep the supplies (mid option) for Zir when you're about to infiltrate the Claws: and... weirdly you can't if you want to do other things (I might have messed my calcs up here).

There's an edge case for getting the max Zir Gown result (and thus that sweet +2 Zir = Opt flag) but it requires playing absolutely every other option perfectly (if you're going for full sex / succbi / Church / Orc options) from at least Chapter 2.

Do you know Fulminatos Calculator tool for TLS? Its a great way to check the results and effects of your decisions down the line (after the first blind run). Covers everything except the most recent companion missions.

Are ourobros or once ever after as good as last sovereign?

I'd say both are good but not quite as good. In particular, both don't pace the erotic content as well, and there is less of it.

You can see reviews for both games on this site (and other like Steam). I will say the reviews for OEA on here are lower than they should be, because the first release here was a leak of a buggy early version and we didn't get any polished version until much later.

You didn't mention that in addition to being outdated and abandoned, it is also cringe-inducing. Half the text on that page is awful attempts at jokes. I'm glad other guides don't waste time with that and just give the info.

I wouldn't be too eager with trying the new update, there is only 2 missions, nothing more. In fact Sierra was in the middle of another big quests but she didn't finish them because of external factors, so, don't expect too much, it is less that it seems.
