I love how there's always wheels within wheels with this story

The sooner Ellie gains total freedom and independence the better, her lack of it is the only reason I can think of why she wasn't given a choice like the others. Though why Eve had us tell her everything only for Alexis to wipe her memory I do not understand. Unless Eve protected her like she did for us. Thinking on it, it's possible that memory wipes can be undone and that's what will happen later, but still doesn't make Ellie being told now and being made forget any less pointless.


Someone is definitely pregnant, or are convinced they are, surprised no one picked up on it given what was being talked about and how she was acting. Granted everyone were dealing with a lot already, but still.

The mother daughter chat has me dying for more but also really worried for the future. I'm sure everything will be ok in the end, but it's the time between "Event" and "End" that will be the problem.

Ok so much to get to here. Some I can comment on and others I have to keep you guessing until it comes up in the game.

I have been very vocal about how Ellie is important to the story long term, and after this chapter, I think you might have a better reason why. While I don't flat out say it the mind wipe trick can be reversed so don't worry about that. The storyline there will pick up after a few loose ends are taken care of. More on why Eve told the MC later though.

I think I laid the hints on pretty heavily that someone is hiding a secret inside them.

Eve and Lilith will both be back and that is about all I can say about that.

LOL sorry I let you down, I will work harder to get that A to A+ next chapter. If the police and others were swarming the building maybe something different could have happened, but vampires have rules granted not all follow them.

Well if he is in a shower with a woman it probably because most women set the shower temp to scalding.

There was some issue with that scene for some reason I could not get it to look right. It might have been the wet skin mod but I am not sure. I tried to fix it but got the same result so I just moved on and we can blame it on hot water.

I can't remember, was it ever said what happens to vampires who drink other vampires blood? Do they just get the high that humans and vampires get? Humans drinking vampire blood get healed just like vampires drinking human blood do, so do vampires get a boosted healing by drinking another vampires blood?

Also, and I'm not expected an answer for this because it hasn't been addressed at all in the story, but how does vampires drinking the blood of other magical and mythical being work? Mages so far as we're aware are just a fancy flavor of human and so interact with vampires much as any human would. But we now know both Angles and Werewolves are real. How would drinking their blood work, and their drinking the blood of a vampire? Ditto for any other magical species that might yet be revealed, it's implied the magical community is pretty large

It was when we (humans) invented the bookkeepers that Civilization started, not before.

Being "on the record" and "archived" is the only way to prove that "we" exist.

My first ever job (at 15) was to put back to order an "Archive". Each person that used it before, put files wherever they felt like... to the point that no one could find anything in there without hours of search and a lot of luck. It took me 15 days. I still consider it my most prideful achievement. Not only did I organized it, I made a index of everything that was there and where it should be archived. 5 years later they put it in a Computer using my File System. Before they had files by type, then another for name, then another for status. 3 File rooms. When I was done, one room, one index, one order. Still 3 files, because, bureaucrats never die, they just make a copy an destroy the original.

Most of those "so-called unofficial patches" are official, but since most dev's are on Patreon (the person who made it even said you are looking at the wrong person), they cannot claim it's official. I mean the dev liked the post, so you add up 2+2 or maybe you can't.

It's impossible to trace who did those things. It's a text file. Doesn't even have embedded identifiers or anything. Like there's no way to trace it. So, we don't know who is the author.
