Yeah. That is one of the major requirements. This reminds me that I still have not gotten the ending where FMC meets the vampire. Maybe I'll try again.

Is there a list of special enemies/mini bosses? Those that appear on the map once you beat a couple of regular mobs and drop special items
I want to know how many there are, I know of the slime in the woods, the horned beast in woods 2, scythe monsters in unexplored lands and another one whose name I forgot in the craggy ridge

Somethings weird with my game, CTRL won't speed up battles anymore, but it'll still speed up dialogue and other things.
They are finished. It's more like as they got more familiar with development, scope of the projects expanded. My[r is really clearly their first or an extremely early work and there is a drastic increase in quality between it and new game.
With the above in mind, I'd opt to start with My[r then do new game then do merc quest since, as you go along, the games will improve in quality. But that is just something I like to see, the developer's improvement, and understand not everyone cares about such a thing. If you're only going to play one game, play merc's quest. I'd recommend playing the other ones at some point though.
The only major compaint I have with this game is not being able to use the mouse. If I missed something on that, let me know.
I only got annoyed in having to hold shift to dash, which got solved with this autohotkey script:

If I remember correctly this should be one of the spirit animals you would have to fight.. and once you defeat one they transform into a hot girl lol.
Well, it has a troop, and a name (wind elemental), but given its stats look completely default, i'm 99% sure it's not in the game proper. Furthermore, no event calls for its troop and I didn't see it in any random encounter table.
This ain't new game lol.
