sooo the game crashes every time in the middle of the third sorcerer fight, can't figure out why
Dang, must've missed that.
When I encountered the dog I helped him fight the slimes and calmly retreated? I don't remember exactly what happens after the fight. How can I recruit the dog?
That also happened to me in the fight after the blue sorcerer. What "solved" it (IDK if that was the reason) was I stopped fast forwarding the fight, letting every move and animation play without interruption.
I believe it becomes available sometime after you raid the bandit camp. Also, there's a quest from priest that temporarily disables fast travel until the quest is over, and it's kind of a two part quest, meaning she leaves the party for a while and joins again afterwards.

Game became EXTREMELY prone to crashes and wigging out during the ruins quest with minstrel, I suspect it has to do with the fact I didn't finish the third priest quest before entering the island. Does anyone have any suggestions what to do to fix this? It tends to crash during combat or right after.
If nothing else, can someone send me a save file that's completed the mantis village and got all 20-ish possible girls so far?
EDIT: Cleared up after a while, key to fixing these type of issues is to not press Z when combat animations are playing
EDIT 2: Any tips on beating the Ice Elemental? With the fire lizard, I could tell I was simultaneously being too aggressive and not killing him fast enough, but the Ice elemental has me beat in everything

This might be an off question, but does anyone here know where the bgm for the south zombie village comes from? I know its titled "carousel" in the game folders.

Has there been any posts from the author about content updates in the future or has he moved onto a new project?
At least not in his ci-en. His last post was on April 6, where he talks about some bugs on Mercenary's Adventure.
I'd love to hear something from them soon, but they do not seem to post anything unless there is something more concrete to show.
Hey guys I just got to the ending but I was barely able to defeat the sorcerers by themselves, and I spared them, making me pretty much unable to beat the final boss. So I downloaded someones save after the true ending, and I did both endings where you continue with just evil and the one where you let evil go. So I was wondering what happens in the true ending since it just dumps me right after all the post final boss fight stuff. Also I tried doing the heretical priest fight in the finished save because apparently theres a marriage ending, and I wanna know what happens in that too since it kicked my ass. Kinda just asking for explanations of true and marriage end. Thx, and sorry for being lazy and not grinding to finish the final bos.

That's okay. The developer's games tend to have a sudden spike in difficulty that requires grinding. Not to mention how easy it is to hard-lock yourself into an ending with little prior notice. I've made two explanations - a long explanation and a short explanation. You can choose how much you'd like to know. The marriage end is a joke ending, so I've only kept it in my short explanation. The same goes for the hardest post-game boss.

Thx for the explanation man, I just got kinda burned out from the combat which is surprising it didn't happen sooner, since I'm not really a fan of turn based games, but this one is just so good, porn aside. Time to play either A New Game or My]r.

Definitely give "A new game" a try. It's hands done his best work yet and offers replay value.
I'm not as into New Game as much as I got into Mercenarys Adventure - what replay value does New Game have (aside from the couple of different endings)?

Been a while since I played it but how the world felt kinda changed for me when I decided to go down an alternate path.

That's a known bug. A solution is given in the threads first few pages. Basically you should notice that one main folder has a really weird name (symbols that make no sense), rename it. To anything really. I went with "Merc Adventure".
That should fix it.

The alternate routes you can do change the game completely. Also it has its own strange vibe to it. You are never quite sure what is real and what isn't. The Protagonist really loses himself in the game and confuses the game world with the real world occasionally. The game also makes a good attempt at confusing the Player directly.
You can at best, speculate, in certain situations. In fact, many people expected Mercenary Adventure to play in the same Universe after the good ending of New Game. Personally, I'm really missing that weirdness of the other two games. Mercenary Adventure is as standard as it gets in terms of RPG, which was a bit disappointing.
Both MY(R and New Game are absolute trips in comparison. Mercenary Adventure is more like a walk to the local grocery store.
My files corrupted, whenever I download the game it says, that the file is corrupted to scan and reinstall the game, all other games work besides this one how do I fix it?
