Since I concentrated mainly on creating content at the beginning of the project, many things remained vague or unclear. I would like to take the time to write them down for everyone who is interested in the game.
This is and will remain a story-focused game until it is finished. In my favorite games, the same things were always most important to me. The interaction between characters, the development of relationships over the course of the story and fluid and clear animations in the intimate scenes. The focus in my game is also on the same things.
The game currently features 3 main female love interests whose routes can be played solo or in parallel. Over the course of the game, I will include several places where you can decide against them. At a certain point in the story, it becomes mandatory to choose one of them. To split as little content as possible, I'm trying to push this to the very end of the game. Side characters are also planned, but it is still unclear when they will come into action as it makes no sense to have intimate scenes with lesser-known characters, especially at the beginning of the story.
In terms of being an AVN, the game will remain rather vanilla. NO, this does not mean that there will be 1 scene every 6 months that is exclusively animated in missionary position. But YES, it does mean that you won't be skullfucking anyone until they pass out for a week and wake up in your basement. I'm aiming for longer scenes between the main characters, and possibly side characters. The bonus scene from chapter 1 is an example of the approximate quality. In the main scenes there will be more interaction in verbal form, I simply didn't care about this in fictional scenes for practice.
A short statement about fetishes, so that the orientation is openly communicated here for everyone to see. The Mc’s/your dick is and will always be the only one on screen. No NTR, no sharing, no please mister mc fuck my wife, no futa/trans, no dom, no humiliation or corruption. There will be a high variation of scenes with at least 3 female characters by the end of the game. The number will increase over the course of the development of the story, as fucking around left and right just doesn't make sense at the start.
I have set myself a maximum of 3 years for the development of the game, starting in 2025. I see the prologue and the first chapter from 2024 as a test for myself and these are not included in the duration.
With the experience I have gained from the 3,5 months from 2024, I am confident that I can commit to a release plan, which will look as follows.
3 releases per year with a playtime of approx. 2 - 2,5 hours for each update (based on my personal playing speed). The prologue took me about 1 hour and 5 minutes to finish and the first chapter about 2 hours and 5 minutes. That would make a total of 9 chapters + prologue and epilogue, with a total playtime of approx. 20 hours if I need the full 3 years for the development.
This will eventually change to 2 releases per year, each with about 3,5 - 4,5 hours of gameplay, once it's time to decide on one of the main interests. I aim to make it possible to play most of the game with all of them in parallel to avoid splitting content, so this should only happen at the very end.
I completed the development of the first chapter in just under 2 months. However, I must admit that I invested 6-8 hours per day, which is simply not possible for me to do every day for 3 years straight and would also burn me out in the long run.
Why is this the case? This is my hobby. I really enjoy creating my first game and want to keep it that way until I finish it. That's why I can't and won’t turn working on it into a job. I also want to have some wiggle room to try stuff out and improve. And there is A LOT I can improve upon.
Also, this whole thing isn't exactly cheap to create. Just to give you a rough overview of what I already put into it. I did 2 hardware upgrades in 2024 so that I can have a decent render system (mainly for future animations so that I'm not blocked) and a very good work system. This upgrades, mainly GPUs, cost around 2.5k. It's hard to say the exact amount per chapter but looking at the overall numbers I'd guess each chapter (characters, clothing, sets, poses, animations, etc.) costs around 500-700 each. As you can see, each contribution helps me a lot, so feel free to share the game if you like it, so that I can gain more support.
Since I want to keep the game exclusively in the foreground, just a few words about me personally. I have no experience in story writing, 3D posing, rendering, audio, image or video editing. The only thing I am slightly familiar with is coding. Also, English is not my native language.
In other words, everything you see on the screen I'm doing for the first time from the beginning of September 2024. If something looks like a bad or lazy implementation, please bear with me and point it out to me so that I can improve on that in future updates, as it's likely that I simply couldn't implement it better at the time. I won’t rework stuff that has already been released, except if it’s a game-breaking thing, as I don't want lose myself in endless correction loops.
And this is where you come in. The main reason I'm releasing the game is because I want to get feedback which is not my own. This is so that I can develop the game in the best possible way.
- I want to show and not tell (I hate mental expression in games. If the character thinks something, then let him act accordingly and not write down his thoughts or useless dialogue)
- I want you to care about what is happening within the game, good or bad
- I don't want to show or let characters say things that don’t have meaning or don’t come into play later in the game
If you see things that are poorly implemented in relation to this, please write me a message. Since I don't understand English perfectly and some implementations may simply be due to poor translation, please send me a version that you think would be correct.
Any support I receive will be put into the game or things that are necessary for its development. These are mainly 3D assets and animations. Depending on the amount of support, I will look for custom animation templates (already ordered some for chapter 2 to test it out) and music later on. Especially music can be very expensive and is quite far down on my list.
