I think the dev needs to change madelyns(adult) name if she's a love interest. It's fucking weird. Just imo.

I disagree because I think that's the point.... to her character and story. If she had another name the reveal wouldn't be as impactful especially when the MC meets her and yeah it's 1/2 of the reason I have no interest in her the other 1/2 is she is your dead wife's sister

yep that's exactly why she wanted to name their daughter Maddie, they got estranged for some reason I'm sure the next update will cover, and Ella wanted something to remember her by. I'll play her route because I think it will be a lot of kinda important content.Even it feels a bit weird.

Yeah same she probably will be the last path I play every update for the same reasons plus well even if I don't like her character I like the model so I wouldn't mind seeing some lewd scenes with the model too lol

she seems like a sweet girl from what we've briefly seen of her, but I'm sure she will have some darker stuff in her past too.

I think the dead wife's sister part ain't so weird. Especially if their relationship is more than she just looks like his wife. If the MC can move on and start over with her and look beyond that its not that bad. I know a couple where it's happened irl. Especially given its been 8 years. The daughter part is just too close to home imo. People move on from losing a wife/husband. Never forget but can find happiness with someone else. The daughter part of it is too weird and the time frame is a little close to the DOD. But great game and anxious to see where the dev goes with this.

I actually didn't cry when I played this game ( I haven't been able to for years) but it still got me in the feels. Tho this game get me close to it. Probably closer than most sad things ive played or watch. Between this or Fairytail. Funny how Fairytail hit me with the same amount of feels as this game just because of nostiliga and wholesome and good feels that anime is but not really sad at all. The most I ever get is a little teary eyed or want to but I can't haha.man now that we were talking about it I again started the game, had to stop here, too late for me to start crying like a little bitch

Yeah it really depends on the person for me the dead wife's sister part is a bit weird for me not because she is her sister but rather she looks exactly like her.

on a serious note jesus christ, closest I ever came to actually crying reading a story. How much does our poor MC need to go through. If a suicide attempt was thrown in there, that might have broke the dam for me honestly. Granted he does almost get ran over, but that wass more of a lackadaisical occurrence.
I'm invested but I feel like I have a hole in my heart.

Tbh I'm drawn to sarah because I feel the connection she has with MC is an unbreakable one. The other two while I like them, I wanna do the "canonical" feeling route first and so far Sarah is the definite route. I ended up liking her best too ngl. I'm surprised when you're on the date with her and she says the company name she doesn't show a realization since she did request "room 205's" full name after it happened. Sarah just has that "This feels right" pick to her because of her instant connection to maddy and how she strongly took the news, the heartbreak, the time off, even switching positions over the news. Weirdly enough just makes her the perfect fit for MC.
Though will say the curveball from the end of that chapter will definitely be interesting too.
