Oof ... that was hard. The closest I've come to being on anyone's path, and then she leaves .... for a day .... ouch.

I assume you were talking about Fin. I'm not proud but I cheated on Kaija with her, in 1 update she beat Kaija for me who had 4 updates of character deveolopment haha.

I basically dumped Kaija and wouldn't change my mind. Like I said before - the only way I would have done otherwise is if I'd been able to make the ultimatum - the Templars or me because as long as she's a templar, I wouldn't be convinced that I wasn't just an assignment. But now I'm going back to the human world (apparently) and I'm not on anyone's side ... ok I'm pretty much on the Elves side, def want to kill whoever killed Fin, but the Elves don't want me ... and the only person I trust is my sister. (Definitely not having a relationship with office ladies or the bartender because it'd just be painting a target on them.) So, me - my sword and my siter ... against everyone. Should be fun.

ah I had the opposite feeling with Kaija on the love path only. I felt her loyalty with the templars was slowing wavering and she would ultimately pick the MC over something that could get us killed or something else to that effect. But yeah she wouldn't betray them or anything until she was given an order she disagreed 100% with that would put us in danger. That and I felt over time her loyalty would shift away from the Templars slowly to us more and more if on the love path.

It's too late. The only way I would have forgiven her or stayed with her is if she swore off the Templars on the spot - before I left. That was when she had to choose. I'm not interested anymore. And, again, if she's the one who killed Fin, I'll kill her.

If Kaija is remotely responsible for Finns demise, then Ceolag would have pretty much written off most of Kaija's fanbase, which is doubtful but hopeful

But yeah, not a chance that it was Kaija that killed Fin.

yeah Fin was killed to incite further conflict between the two factions, templars were framed on that one. Either that, or a rogue element within the order did/orchestrated it. But I think it's more likely a 3rd party pinned it on the templars.

Maybe the complaints about Kaija got to him so much that he decided to get rid of her in this way - let Kaija's fans kill her themselves for what she did. This sounds 100% likely!
Having Kaija being the one that killed her would destroy one of the main LI's in the game which sounds extremely unlikely.

Would be fun seeing Kaija defending Templars if the internal rogue element was true.
And depending on your route she might be even proud of what's happened

I wonder if said third party might try to put the blame on Kaija for killing Fin tho just to worsen the relationship with her and the MC. Probably wouldn't make alot of sense to target Kaija but could be interesting.

Don’t know but I have zero faith in Kaija or any of the Templars. Wouldn’t cross the street to save the lot if em. Next chapter should be interesting.

I am going to go back though and do a speed run just to make sure Kaija’s path is at or near zero before the next chapter is released. I don’t want her to try to get in touch when I return.

sounds like someone is doing the hate path haha. I still need to play her hate and friend path I only have love path just haven't been in the mood to replay the game yet haha.

I'm hoping Ceo is planning to pull off a Steph moment as in Steph from LOF and Steph from AMW and redeem Kaija somewhat. I dislike her, but I'm not opposed to her redemption either. That is a ways off i think if it will happen at all. She is still the most interesting character in the game even though I dislike her actions. She is an LI, there will be a lot more to come.

Yeah pretty much. Our entire relationship she was basically a spy for the templars and never said anything plus she lied about her job the whole time. There’s no redemption- it’s basically on par with finding out she’d had an affair from day 1 of our relationship. No coming back from that and I generally see the Templars as enemies now so she won’t get the chance anyway
