I liked Finn towards the end, but I don't see the attraction that many other seem to have. All she wanted to do was stab my MC. She was a bit too volatile for me.
My MC would forget to take out the garbage - stab!
Sorry dear, I forgot our anniversary - stab!
Yes dear you do look fat in that dress - stab!
Oh did I forget to put down the toilet seat - stab!
I'd always be worried we would have a fight and she would stab me to death in my sleep. Trust is big for me and I don't think I could trust her not to stab me.
Honestly this was what I really enjoyed about the character. You knew exactly where you stood with her and she didn't try to sugarcoat anything.

I think the Alfar did it, but it was a faction within their government that framed them. If that were the case, it doesn't matter either way, because his objective of trying to prevent a war can't be accomplished while they see him as leverage at that point.

I also can't ignore the possibility they'd see the smartphone message as an Alfar trick and that the father would try to get him back.

I think the former is more likely though, unless the Templars have devolved so much that they just don't respect the Grandmaster any longer. The next few chapters are either going to have the MC leaving Alfar territory cutting his way through them to get away, or for him to refuse to leave out of principle and investigate in Neverwhere with Medb and them becoming an iconis duo trying to prevent a disaster.
I'm pretty sure the Templars did it. It may not be straightforward but the Alfar wouldn't kill Finn. She was Medb's daughter.

We don't know the Alfar nearly as well as you think we do. They not only insulated us from government happenings, but they kept us in the dark about anything going on in their government.

I can't see an argument for why the Templars would do something so reckless when they have the smartphone proof.

If I wanted to manipulate a potential enemy agent into rage against what you would perceived as his 'own kind' this is exactly how I would do it.

Yeah, that's a possibility I've considered as well. I think it's pretty safe to say at this point that there's elements of both the Alfar and the Templars that want a war and might take drastic actions for what they believe to be "noble" end goals. Or that could be manipulated by a hostile third-party into taking them.

Ok, wait and see.
If I'm being brutally honest, I have to speculate that the body we saw in the boat was a trick and that the real Finn is still alive somewhere. With the hatred I saw in the Queen I could still see the faction, but they have a reputation for being tricksters. This could be one of those tricks to see what the MC will do.

It fits the facts and they wouldn't need to hold up the illusion for too long.

I said that yesterday - she was the first person (other than his sister) who he was sure was completely honest with him.
You are both correct and I agree. I appreciate her honesty and that she was brought up thinking humans were evil. Her lack of self-control is a red flag for me and I don't see her as LI material because of it. Each to their own though. If you guys are cool with it, that's fine by me.

I like crazy chicks. No one loves harder than a crazy chick and a crazy chick will always have your back no matter what. Kill someone she'll help bury the body.

I have a soft spot for sure - not in all cases, not JUST because they're crazy, but Luna in the DeLuca family is one of my all time favorites. So is CeCe in Leap of Faith.

No ... there may be a bit of free roam, I don't quite remember. It's a mafia story and Luna is insane - and could probably kill everyone else in the game if she wanted to. (There are reasons, part of the story) but yeah it's good. It was listed as abandoned recently but the Dev says it's not and he's working on the next part, he just had some ... stuff.

Ha! I am ok with a little attempted manslaughter. We've all been there a time or two with crazy. Sure they may be a tad nuts but damn are they fun. :ROFLMAO:

I'm not that young. I'm old enough that .. if crazy is what finally does me in, so be it. It's gonna be something sooner or later.

Haven't tried this yet, about to though. From what I've gathered though I shouldn't get too attached to Finn? To be safe I'll probably try not get attached to anyone.

I really enjoy the story to this VN. Its one of the better ones in my opinion. Don't worry about getting attached to the girls, well except Finn, but you know that already.

Finn :(

It's a good story so far. Although the next couple of chapters will be important to that still being true.
