all true but for me it felt like after spending some time with her it wasn't about training us because she was ordered to anymore. Instead it felt like she wanted to as she was starting to act like a friend / ally and she was having a good time just hanging around us. I had the feeling she no longer saw us as a filthy human but someone she saw as an equal and perhaps more eventually ( not in terms of strength cause she was stronger 100%). It was like after spending time with her she became a new person entirely because the MC opened her eyes or something.

I actually rather liked Finnabair once she finally got her head out of her ass, and I am going to miss her. But I agree that having sex with her is a not much of a temptation. Even ignoring the prospect of cheating on one of the other LIs, Finnabair just doesn't seem like a good fit. We've known her for what, something like two weeks? And a substantial portion of that time was spent with her hating our guts. Call me old fashioned, but I'm looking for something more in my partners.
Combine that with her general sense of immaturity and the whole 'long lived, very alien race on the brink of war with us' baggage* and I'm perfectly happy to keep it platonic with her. Maybe that could have changed if she'd had more time to develop, but, well...
