Your MC is going to start a race war far more fierce than intended with a "tender" attack on Medb's ears, especially if its done right after the funeral :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:.
“It's a terrible thing, I think, in life to wait until you're ready. I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything. There is almost no such thing as ready. There is only now. And you may as well do it now. Generally speaking, now is as good a time as any.”

Are you sure that doesn't go, "Never do today what can be put off till tomorrow?"

Lies.....it's all lies....can just see the sexy tip here:

I'm pretty sure that murdering Finnabair is also a setup by a third party to further fuel tensions, but we'll see
Finnabair's death being orchestrated by the shadowy third party isn't necessarily incompatible with the Templars dealing the killing blow. Manipulating your opponents into fighting amongst themselves is a very old trick.

But there's not much point in speculating too much about it until we learn some actual details. We know almost nothing about Templar operations, Alfar operations, Finnabair's mission, or what actually happened to her.

"What happens in Neverwhere, stays in Neverwhere"
Unfortunately, the scene with Finnabair takes place in Alfheimr, and we've seen the Alfar are inveterate gossips! :p

the funeral yes, but where she found her fate we know little, as well as how she was killed, we just know it was a seemingly easy mission, similar as they abducted MC father, or as Medb went to Neverwhere,

I was surprised by how much Finnabair was the polar opposite of her father Ailill. He was a composed and pragmatic person who planned ahead, while she was an impulsive reckless fool who tries to murder you twice. Her second attempt was particularly stupid, as she challenges you to a duel to the death with swords after just having lost a sword fight to you. They say that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, so I could only imagine that her mother must have been a total trainwreck of a person to raise such an awful child. Turns out I was right.

Elven society as a whole didn't come across looking too great in this episode. They're all hypocrites of the highest degree. Their claims of honour are laughable after watching this farce of a duel. How exactly are you supposed to decline to duel? Just stand there and get cut in half? We verbally refused the duel, and then she attacks anyways, and us drawing the sword in self-defence somehow justifies her actions? But if we kill her after she refuses to yield and vows to kill us, we are imprisoned and interrogated? Our guest rites end when we are deep in their territory? And we can be murdered in cold blood? What the fuck is this horseshit?

The only reason I spared her life was because I wanted to use it as proof of our earnest attempt at peace. But she really deserved to die. She got off so ridiculously light that I can't take them seriously. She's 281 years old, and pouting like a child because she has to teach us about her culture for a few days. Wow. Really harsh punishment for two counts of attempted murder, huh?

If it weren't for the lady in the lake, I'd be switching over to killing Finnibair as my main path in the game. She 100% deserves it, and it makes sense for us to do so as she's lying there vowing to never stop trying to murder us while Medb approves of it all. The two of them are such trash that they make Kaija look like a reasonable choice for a love interest.

I guess honor is everything to beings that live 7k+ years.

Although with the MC going on a diplomatic mission and killing their "princess" in the process can be considered a shit-show of an attempt.

P.S, if there was a 3rd option i would've prefered this:

I killed her three times just to watch her die. (Great job on that graphic btw) Then reloaded after each one before I let her live and moved on.
