Dude life happens. Take your time and don't feel pushed. So far the story is amazing and you have a good thing here. Don't let others push you to do something you may regret. Good luck with the day job and the game, I am happy to patiently wait till you feel the next chapter is releasable.

- I think the Adandond tag relates to last update and activity on their own sites (not sure the staff sift through the forums)

Played it today for the first time and felt it to be a an excellent game with some originality. Wish it was not abandoned. Any suggestion for games similar to this? Main protagnist being a king favourably.

Yeah, the Machinist has gotten really busy with RL stuff it seems. Most just start out making an adult game on the side when they have time. Life doesn't always agree with that plan.
Maybe in some other game you might start as a prince or a noble or even a soldier who wants to overthrow the king etc. That's why I mentioned starting as a king.
Man, I realize that you don't have the time for it, but the game was fantastic. I hope you will find the time to either continue this title or come up with a brand-new idea in the future. Enjoy your day, dude.
