This game is amazing. Hidden gem. 9.8/10
Excellent graphics, incredible scenes, great translation, enjoyable gameplay (old school Final Fantasy in a nutshell but without random encounters to grind).
Only quibble is that the last quarter of the game is not my cup of tea

Agreed that the last portion isn't as exciting as I hoped it would be.
If you like it, you probably will like other good kunoichi games that were heavily inspired by this one, too.

1) Installed RPG Maker VX RTP
2) Copied English translation patch
3) Game starts
4) After allowing me to choose the difficulty level, the game gets stuck with the error below and exits.

How is this garbage getting praise? I've encountered so many errors, this is not worth it. Do not bother posting a game that you can't just open and have it work. Also 2 handed controls? Come on.
Same happens for me while others only needed to download that i did and have the Japan Locale and nothing.
So for anyone that is having problems running the game. There's a working solution to all the errors in this thread, I stitched them together and it worked, so here they are.
Even if you are in japanese locale extracting this game no matter what software you use botches some of the graphics.
1. For some fucking reason, downloading it from op, then dragging it (still zipped) to

3. Than you will also likely need to download RGSS202J, just google a download, get it, extract it into the game folder (Where the game.exe is)
Now the game should work, or at least it does for me, for what it's worth i have set japanese locale but on page 2 the guy that came up with extract.me says it works even if you're not in japanese locale.
Mind you i'm writing this as soon as i managed to get past the difficulty selection, considering how it's erroring out the ass in the first 5 seconds of play it's entirely possible it's gonna shit itself again at a later point in the game, if that's the case you'll find me raging about it further down the thread.

You just run the setup.exe and it installs, it doesn't matter where you install it.
And... Didn't do shit XD, there's always something more that doesn't work
Only thing I can think of is the version, i got the RPG Maker VX one, not the ace one, if that didn't work, try the ace one, other than that i've no idea unfortunately, it worked for me so i was hoping it would work for others as well, but at this point i've played so many japanese and RPGM games, that some random fix for an error i did 3 years ago could be what's actually unfucking the game. If that doesn't work i can at least link

Strangest thing is, from all the RPG maker games i ever played, both porn and normal ones, i legit never had as many issues as with this game. To be entirely honest the porn isn't that good and gameplay is....passable, while the dialogue and narration obviously make the scenes hotter, know you're not losing too much if you don't manage to make it run and just check the gallery.
