I had a small non-spoiler review, but I was asked to post-pone it. We were asked to come and back up Shiny in his claim that the game isn't a copy-cat. I refuse to just say yes or no, given I can't prove it. But I think it's different enough.
tl;dr the reason I'm dissapointed is the fact we only get the 10/10 version of Laura shown in the signatures and not the master's piece, sexy nymph, cum-Goddess, semen-demon that this is:

It was a kind of weird and hilarious sight to behold. One person mentions this game "taking heavy inspiration from Oni's", Shiny refutes that claim, nobody even argues about it with him and suddenly a platoon arrives to unnecessarily back him up.
I get that the comparison to Oni's game has been made before, but that snippet was just "wait...what?...why?"

Most of the beta testers meme together in the discord and don't check this thread so we aren't aware of what's being discussed unless someone let's us know.
We're hype for the game and happy to do our part to share our experience, but we wouldn't have known our feedback was requested unless he said so.
So a discord post of:

I think it should give you an idea of how many of us are just kinda hanging out and waiting like ya'll, but don't normally come to threads like this.
Discord is pretty active and fun, but most of us don't peek outside of it.

I realize it's unnecessary, but they did it because they're enjoying the game- and I "did it" because I was going to post some kind of a review at first, but it'll have to wait a bit more. Derp is right, though, we're mostly there, so if we have a reason to come here and share some stuff, we'll most likely do it.

I know as much as anyone here does. So no clue. Right now they're beta testing and ironing out the kinks, but their main programmer is busy getting his degree and the man's future and career obviously should take precedence over a porn game. I'm personally still expecting it this year, but that's based on little but my hopes.
Shinyboots1993 can provide additional details, but I think he'd say what I've said just now is pretty much the gist of it
