To be honest, when the cheating mechanic was first introduced, it was bugged, so it just got annoying by the third or fourth time to the point was I was like "Iight. Shut up, bitch." and just kept playing.

I wrote a thing a while back of 'what's the worst thing you could do or say to each girl to destroy them', and they either followed a theme of 'you know that Hope I gave you? Ha! Sucker!" or just simply "you deserved it". I think Laura's was both.

Contrary to what some might think, given how a lot of my stuff apparently skews towards the 'emotionally devastating' side of the spectrum (don't remember who said that, but I remember your words!) I did not enjoy writing that at all.

First I'll say my claiming to be a community manager wasn't meant to be aggressive. I'm just the most informed when it comes to the project in broad terms.

Second. I didn't call you dumb. Though your math isn't taking into account variables. All of 0.9 and 1.0's features pale in comparison to us basically forking Renpy. Before Ron, as far as I am aware, Renpy didn't have real time physics.

Different things take different amount of time. Earlier in development we got a lot of complaints about updating too quickly.

An example of time difference is that a location is just a piece of art and a button sending you there. The date system already exists, so group dates is just expanding on that.

We also have more coders so the time it took Ron to do stuff on his own has shortened significantly. If he has to take a break again, we have someone to keep coding.

Third. Whether you intend it or not. You are coming off EXTREMELY rude, dismissive, and outright antagonistic. People don't care about your intent. The reason I am even responding to you is because I assume English is not your first language and you are not aware that your phrasing is coming off so offensive to people.

All quirks are and will be based off of existing personality traits.

As salscou mentioned, their behaviors are representative of the actual characters. We just take them to the extreme, within psychological reason, and make them kinky.

If you want a bunch of strong willed women to act submissive, go play Oni's Rogue Like. This is not an attack on RLE, it's a recommendation for a game you will likely enjoy.

So for those curious about future girls. Without spoiling:

Kitty will be feisty nerd naive about Super Heroes, Storm will be conflicted over how she presents herself, Dazzler will feel like the music industry is fucking her over, and Emma will be a sultry seducers with issues stemming from a family that is royally messed up.

You can take a guess at what their quirks will be, but characters will be as authentic as possible. There's like 3 Evo inspired games out there. Y'all can survive with a comic inspired one.


Our coders do not patiently wait for the art to arrive before they begin coding. They code the scenes and then plug the art into them. At the same time, our writers do not wait until they are done programming scenes for us to write the text. In fact it's the other way around. Our writers have to put facial expressions and body movements in the text.
