I hate having to be forced to start a new game where there is barely anything new. There is literally no new sex scene. This game is a hentai game, and all they did was add more text to scenes that a lot of people usually skip. You expect people to replay and reread the walls of text that we already read...
Pretty sure most people will not even realized what is new and what is old. Because lets be honest people play these type of games for the HENTAI parts. Now wegotta regrind to get to the hentai parts.... Gotta skip all the nightcrawlers walls of text and bs. these devs need to focus on addignto teh story not goign back to add new dialogue to old content.. this is what you call adding filler so they can milk people. this game will never be finished liek with rogue like and summertime saga's. wish we got new sex scenes instead of new dialgue for old scenes.. Could had added Storm or Emma frost For crying out loud... but instead we get new dialogue. where u are forced to start all over to guess what is new and what is not new since last update was months ago if I am not mistaken.

Again, there is also a significant number of people who are interested in the game because of the social sim aspects of it. I don't need this game specifically to see the female X-Men get fucked on the internet while this is the closest thing to a X-Men social life sim around.


Boots did say a combat system was in the works, albeit at the bottom of the priority list. I asked him about whether the system changes by the time of v1.0/v1.1 accounted for a combat system too a while ago. Wonder what his answer will be?

Speaking of which, poor Boots is going to have to go through a couple dozen release week thread pages when he returns.

About the possible combat system, I wonder if they have a basic idea of how it would work, because with the circumstances I don't think it will be animated.
But if the devs manage to pull this off, it's going to be one of the best non-official games of an existing IP ever.
Nothing better than to kick ass side by side with your harem of super powered woman, and then relax after the mission with some snu snu to spend the rest of that post battle adrenaline.

Well, URM worked just fine on 8b1 (or whatever the last version posted here was called) so sounds weird that it don't work on 8c. You sure you got the latest version of URM and installed it right?

A lot of people have been complaining about performance issues and hindu god X-Men so there is valid reason for the rework. And if the only thing you care about is the porn then there is the upcoming addition of cunnilingus and group sex in v0.9 and v1.0.

You don't even have to search for the info yourself. I have quoted my All-In-One post which contains all the changes and hence the reasons why saves are not compatible in my first reply to you. I even said so in that reply too.

If you're so adamant on X-Men sex only why not go play Rogue Like: Evolution?

Well, to be fair, there is ALOT of people here on various game threads, that don't seem to understand why whatever UnrealEngine5 game won't run on their ZX-Spectrum.. So "people complaining about preformance" should not be taken seriously unless they post the hardware specs they are using. I'm currently replaying TNH 8c on an ANCIENT Windows laptop, it's so old it have a i7-8750H and a GTX1060 6gb graphics card and only 16gb of 2400Mz RAM and this game runs just fine of old tech like this.

It won't run Cyberpunk or RDR2 (it will, but only at 12 FPS) but I'm also not stupid enough to go online and complain about it! Besides, I got my tower for games like that.

While I agree with your general sentiment, I'd rather not risk the game potentially attracting the Mouse's attention anymore than it needs to.

No doubt some of the performance issues stem from people trying to play the game on Pentiums and integrated graphics. However, the hindu god X-Men and various other issues that I can't think of right now probably make this system overhaul a worthwhile endeavour anyway.

I figured I'll try to combine the posts that answer most if not all of the most common questions about the game in one single post. It probably won't work but at least I can say I tried. Plus I or others can just quote this one post to answer those questions.

AND YES: YOU HAVE TO START A NEW GAME FOR VERSION 0.8C AS OLD SAVES ARE NOT COMPATIBLE. ACHIEVEMENTS ARE PRESERVED.

What's new in version 0.8c in a detailed write-up by merleved (Also illustrates the reasons why 0.8c is not save compatible.)

There will be 3 main Love Interests per chapter. Chapter 2's Love Interests are Storm, Dazzler and Kitty. Emma Frost will make her appearance as an antagonist in Chapter 2 but will not be romanceable until later chapters.

With regards to how many chapters are planned according to ShinyBoots1993's own words:
Five with a sixth which will be dedicated to bonus stories, a handful of girls who couldn't fit in the timeline in a believable way, some extended stories for chapter 4 and 5 girls who didn't have as much screen time*, and the set up for a sequel.

*Girls from chapters 1-3 will get content too but they got a lot more time to show off.

Now for reasons I have to be EXTREMELY vague about. Chapter 6 won't be following any defined span of time. However, all of the stories will be 100% canon.

The extended stories exist because we will be introducing girls in Chapter 5 and them missing out on 4 chapters of character development isn't fun for their fanbases.

Yeah, I remember going through your test posts but you were benchmarking and testing things out. I'm talking more about the dudes who unironically complain that the game's performance sucks using that level of hardware.

The post just below yours points to a lot more detail, including the current roadmap as far as it goes, but for general answers:

6 chapters, 5 story and 1 free-roam at the end.
3 new main girls per chapter.
Pregnancy might happen, but if it does not until chapter 6 when people have the chance to get through 9 months without potential major injuries that would be a danger to the pregnancy.
