As a general response. We're actually in the red so if we're milking things, we're doing a pretty shit job at it.

How in the red are we? Ron uses more than $1K out of pocket a month to pay the artists. Everyone else, the writers, the music guy, me, UI people are purely volunteer.

Would we be in a better financial situation if we just threw out girls with 2 interactions and added the rest and their stories 6 updates later and then eventually have to break saves again because we chose to rush things?

Looking at the financial situation of a lot of the other games? Yeah, we'd probably be getting more money that way.

But no. We're actively losing money because our passion for the project outweighs any desire for making money off it.

To be honest we might have to look into more ways of making things financially stable or we're gonna need to start using placeholder art.

Yeah, you guys got this handled and under control.

Nope, can't resist getting a jab in.

Then you must be pretty inefficient with your money, or just bullshiting.
Show results, not "we paid our artist 12000$ this year...for 20 sketches, that not even in game yet" excuses.

Last I checked, the latest update came out just over a month ago and massively overhauled many aspects of the game as noted here. The code monkeys like sleepingkirby and pepplez have gone through the code and noted that the code isn't simply a copy and paste job and that the team actually did what they said they were doing. And the people who played the update have noted the differences in gameplay too albeit with some features left currently incomplete.

I can perhaps understand being frustrated and impatient with the perceived slowness of updates but members of the dev team have come out and given you the reasons on why updates are taking the time that they are, and yet you go "Pics or it didn't happen" when the dev team currently haven't given the supporters and users any reason to doubt them.

If it's good enough for the rest of us why isn't it good enough for you and why exactly should the dev team bend over backwards to accomodate you personally, given that you haven't given any evidence of supporting the game and those of us who ARE supporting the game are if not fine at least understand the current pace of development?

And it's not as if this particular game thread is full of understandably frustrated users and supporters like in other games so you're just asking to get dogpiled the way you went about commenting. Was that the reaction you wanted?

I'm sorry if I sound aggressive or hostile but just as you are entitled to your own opinions and takes so are the rest of us entitled to respond in kind when you go about voicing your opinions in an aggressive and confrontational manner.
