I got you, babe. The trans character is played by Natalie Mars, and she's one of 4 possible hookups at the pub if you go drinking in the evening. She has no previous connection to the MC, and is just the girl who works the makeup counter at the local pharmacy. No current plans to expand her role in future versions, but hey, you never know.
Natalie means most likely she's a sub (yay!), and I'm so glad you didn't go the easy trans prostitute route.
