such a shame, clymenia had good games. Liz was such a good game, and how it ties in with luxuria but not too much, everything is just perfect.

I think he died after the noto peninsula earthquake. I have no proof of that, but his last monthly update was in december last year, and the earthquake happened in january this year. So maybe he couldn't post an update because he got hit by the earthquake and died.

where did you find it though? Either he deleted that after getting a shit ton of backlash or the PROBABLE answer is that anon is lying and that is just a photoshopped/edited image. I've also checked and that seems 100% fake the timing of post being exactly 5:00 (not being a random minute)

I think it's pretty much confirmed he is dead. I'm pretty sad because I feel like most of the H-game industry is turning into shit, and Clymenia was one of the only one who did consistent good releases.
It's just assumptions, we have 0 news about him. But considering the fact that he said he was sick just before disappearing, and that it's been one year now...I hope the death news is just assumptions or people being stupid. God, my heart sank... Idk about it being v1.01 but the game is LITERALLY uncomplete. Author died, maybe that is the version in JP or a special version in CI EN, or a special version from that website that don't align with the actual product version. Yeah someone can probably MTL this but it will be forever an incomplete game. A beta or alpha or some shit.

This is his last post on Ci-EN. Updates about the game, last post is December 2023 almost 2 years at this point. Either he got jailed, found a new job, or the most likely reason is he died. Artists/ indie devs (specially something as NICHE as H games) are all about the passion in making games (sure some devs just make lazy cashgrab games but this dev definitely is not one to just outright abandon his last project without saying a FINAL word).
It's quite like when an artist of your favorite manga dies (a prominent example would be Miura of Berserk). The story can be completed by someone else/ someone with close ties to the original creator but it will never be the same. I'm saying this as a fellow fan of this developer since their games where pretty nice in quality and scenarios.
