I dunno if I'd call him a scammer lol. He's delivered a lot more games than most groups do in a much shorter frame of time, so burnout just seems like the obvious answer. It's a big shame because his stuff is true peak

I agree that scam in unlikely, but i don't really want to dive into theories when we don't actually have any information. Hope the creator is going to be ok.
Kinda sucks since the game was so close to being finished and looked great but nothing we can do really except move on and maybe check the news from time to time.

Yup, it's now been 9 months, I'd say he's dead
Recently Youtube abridged series maker PurpleEyesWTF returned after like 6 years of absence, released 2 new episodes of his Code MENT abridged series within about a month of each other, then abruptly deleted his entire Youtube channel with no warning or explanation. People on the internet do sometimes vanish entirely, but occasionally they do come back after long absences and continue where they left off or finish things they started.
If he did quit I wish he'd at least have left notification. Anyone know if the new artist has said anything?

even U-ROOM who didn't update the game progress since February still give a Comment in his Ci-en post
and Clymenia last post quite alarming, maybe at that time he's in quite in bad state

We know he struggled with the development of his latest game, apparently a lot of bugs and complication. IIRC there was also people complaining about the direction and quality of his new game. On his latest article, people are wishing him to take care of his health and to recover so he likely got sicks and since we have no news.
So we don't know if his absence is due to his health or depression from the slow development but health issues is quite likely.
He's my favorite dev so I really hope it's just a break or minor health issues. Let's just wish him the best.

Someone also mentioned there was an earthquake around the time of his disappearance, but yeah hopefully he's alright. I remember one of my favorite artists suddenly, randomly passed away from falling during a hike. Life comes at you fast.
F. Game got the abandoned tag. Sad that his last official work is the Justice Mech DLC (which is pretty alright,but lacks details/ polish as compared to being a full game since it's only a DLC).
